Walking distance to downtown, on the city bus route, and just down the street from the college green and VCFA!
This apt if perfect for a business trip on a weeknight, a romantic weekend or a family vacation. We are close to many area attractions: Stowe and Waterbury, Burlington & Lake Champlain, & Sugarbush.
I have furnished the apartment with artifacts from my travels and enjoy sharing them with my guests. The house is a great central location if you want to visit Stowe, Sugarbush(Warren/Waitsfield), historic Woodstock, Hanover or the Burlington area and Lake Champlain. We are right on College Street with the green nearby for kicking a ball around, and walking distance to downtown. This is the perfect place for a couple, or several couples, or families with children. If you have extra guests, consider booking the upstairs, and/or the apt over the garage. We have been used for wedding parties and graduations and reunions.
We have lots of stuff to loan and advice about fun activities in the area. The backyard is truly a lovely getaway with fabulous views, but you are still in the heart of things! I will email you directions about where to find your keys and how to find us after you have booked.
We are here to help out, but try not to be intrusive. I set up a txt message stream and this works well for quick answers to questions.
This is a quiet, safe, friendly neighborhood in the state's capitol. It is a great walking street, and people are always hospitable.
The city bus stops right in front of the house, or you can easily walk downtown to restaurants and shops. Many people ride bikes instead of using their cars.
PLEASE NOTE: If you Instant Book, I will need 2 hours from the booking time as I re-vacuum and dust the space before the arrival of all guests (might be a shorter time.) You are welcome to arrive, land your luggage and pick up a key, and leave your car to walk downtown, etc.
