Beautiful Getaway
The pictures posted for this property do not do this location justice. You are right on the water! There are two decks plus the dock. The picturesque views are non stop. A bald eagle landed on the small island across from this cottage every day. Swimming, boating and fishing every day. We had a fantastic stay! Tom, at the neighboring Tyson Village Store provided additional kayak and paddle board rentals (at a reasonable rate). He dropped off and picked up the rentals. So convenient. We had a great meal at Sam's Steakhouse. A few other restaurants looked very good as well, but we had most meals at the cottage. There is a very large and clean gas grill provided. The Buttermilk falls made for a great afternoon swimming in the basins and waterfalls. Jim, the property owner was very accommodating and helpful from the start. I would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful 3 level home sleeps 14 with 100' of shoreline on Lake Rescue in Ludlow, Vermont. Level 1 3 bedrooms, (one king and 2 two twin), 1.5 baths, family room with fireplace, kitchen bar with high top seating for 6, and all new appliances - washer/dryer, gas oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, TV with Dish cable .Level 2 1 double bedroom, 1 bath, great room with cathedral ceiling ,fireplace, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar with seating for 4 people. Large deck with gas and charcoal grills, 2 umbrellas tables with seating for 14 people, TV with Dish Cable Level 3 Loft with 1 full size bed, 1 Trundle, and 1 queen/futon. Wood available in shed, large deck with swing and dining table, gas and charcoal grills - all overlooking the lake. Outdoor cooler/bar and fire pit on side of house. sledding,ice skating, and cross country skiing on the lake. 10 minutes to town with shopping and fine dining. 5 min to Okemo Mountain and 20 to Killington. Regarded as one of the best fishing lakes in Vermont. Tennis and golf minutes away. Manchester Outlets 30 min.k Summer fun at Okemo Adventure Zone includes mini golf, Timber Ripper Mountain Coaster, zip line tours, AMP Energy Big Air Bag, disc golf course, climbing wall, Stump Jumper Bungee Trampoline and hiking/biking trails.
