WE LOVED IT!
I cannot say enough about this house. It was perfect. Beautifully, comfortably decorated. Perfect layout. The beds all have memory foam mattresses and are so comfortable. We celebrated our 40th anniversary and our grandson's 3rd birthday at the house. We cooked wonderful family dinners in the kitchen and sat in the lovely dining area together. The living area was so comfortable and 5 adults could sit comfortably and enjoy a movie together with the amazing view of the lake out the back side of the house. Our grandson played for hours in the back yard. We saw heron looking for dinner almost every night just a few hundred feet away and fish jumping out of the lake as the sun went down. We love this house so much, I offered to buy it from the owner, but she was too smart to give up such a treasure. It was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Relaxing!!!!!
I was so excited to find this little GEM on the lake. The house is really clean. It was a welcome change to have a fully stocked kitchen with all the needed utensils., and by that I mean a wine opener. :) The house is easy to find and the neighborhood is quiet. The backyard offers a great view of the lake and easy access to the water. I will be back.

It was a great place to stay we loved it.
My son was getting married in Texas on November 26 and my family and I had made previous reservations at another home and at the last minute they cancelled us and I'm from northern Michigan...so I panicked..but when I found this home VRBO I immediately sent on my request..and Barbara the owner responded in less than a half hour..she's remarkable...we arrived in Texas on the 21st of November and stayed until the 27th...it was lovely..it accommodated us very well..it was very quiet. Nice neighborhood..we walked...there was a little park close by.. the lake views were very nice..a very peaceful setting..we Loved it. .we would love to go back in the near future...Thank Barbara And Faimly....it was a Joy...and the Wedding was beautiful..

Nice house, comfortable and roomy for 6. We Enjoyed out Stay.
We travelled from Michigan for a wedding in nearby Rockwall. 6 of us enjoyed the property everthing is very nice, clean and comfortable.

Lasting Memories
What a wonderful week! The home is exactly what we needed. Quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to our family in Rowlett. There were plenty of clean linens, excellent laundry appliances, very special neighbor and comfy beds. The lake runs behind the house which provided a beautiful sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening , and my grandson caught his first fish! Thank you so much for helping with the making memories that last a lifetime!! Appreciate the owner Barbara Stewart for her help and guidance with this rental and answering any questions that we had!

A great relaxing environment - close enough to dallas but far enough out to be quiet
This is a good house in a great location. The scenery of the lake and quietness of the neighborhood provided a great environment for our retreat. Will use again!

Ideal place

Beautiful home!
The house was in a very nice location, beautiful views and the back yard and porch are such a nice place to sit and visit with friends and family. We will definitely stay here on our next trip

Great little house by the lake
Quiet little place right on the lake. Nothing too fancy, but really nice. Beds were super comfy. Bathrooms were clean. Patio was a great place to hang out in the evening. Mexican food, doughnuts and coffee right down the street, so we almost didn't have to leave. If attending an event at Rush Creek Yacht Club, you'll love how close you are. Our kids rode their bikes back and forth. Hoping to do it again!

Amazing Lakeside Home
Lovely home on the lake. Well kept, very clean and well stocked. The owner very accommodating! She truly wants your stay to be awesome. The lake view from the back of the home is spectacular. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. The only complaint we have is.....we had to leave.

Very quiet and relaxing home!
My family of 5 enjoyed staying at this home tucked away in a hidden neighborhood on the lake. Saw lots of ducks and even watched a Heron catch a fish all while relaxing on the huge patio. Plenty of space for the kids and the home was very cozy and had everything we needed.

Very clean, well maintained, beautiful lake shore property
Barbara and her local family were wonderful! They were hospitable and always easily reachable through our extended stay. Very pleased with our stay through our transition to the Dallas area. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable views right out your back yard. Wall of windows to the lake with an oversized back patio and deck for sitting and relaxing enjoying the view. Fenced in back yard for the children to play freely. Three bedrooms (one is king bed, one is queen bed and one is full size bed). Third bedroom is also a great office setup if you have someone that needs to taking a working vacation with you.
About The Area
East of Dallas Texas on Lake Ray Hubbard. Easy commute to Downtown Dallas and all of the entertainment, restaurants, of the Metroplex area. About 10 minutes and a short drive to Rockwall, Texas.
House Rules
NO Large Group Events or Parties Allowed at all. Strict guest limit must be adhered. Cars are limited to 3 total. No watercraft entrance to the lake, no pets, NO SMOKING or VAPING.
