You’ll find southern hospitality, charm, and comfort here in Northeast Houston. It’s thirty minutes to the Houston Med Center, and less than twenty to the Port of Houston, Houston Ship Channel and Baytown Refineries.
This charming family home is found on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood in Northshore, near Channelview. It’s a gabled ranch home, well-landscaped and offering garage and driveway parking. Upgrades include new tile and laminate flooring, new wood grain counters and cabinetry in the kitchen. In the common den, there is new leather furniture joined by a big LCD HDTV with cable and Netflix and a fireplace. With the high speed Wi-Fi you can also stream your favorite shows, or take advantage of the home office setup with fax, copier, printer, scanner, and shredder. Each bedroom is fully furnished and ready for your arrival. Complimentary sleep mask, earplugs, and toiletries are provided. Each room has its own lock, and free weekly house cleaning, linen changing, and fresh towels are complimentary. Central Air keeps the property cool, and each carpeted bedroom also has a ceiling fan.
The first bedroom features a double bed and dresser with a window view; the second offers a twin bed and office desk, while the third bedroom has a pullout loveseat sleeper. The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with modern appliances, and as a bonus, the on-premises owner loves to cook and can prepare fresh or frozen home cooked meals for you. You are also welcome to cook and show off your culinary skills! On laundry day, you’ll have access to a full washer and dryer. While your whites tumble dry, head out to the big green backyard, where a covered furnished deck will be a great place to enjoy some fresh air or check out birds at the bird feeder in this tranquil, private oasis.
After work and on weekends, the Bayou City is a fantastic place to explore. It’s less then ten minutes to three major freeways so getting anywhere won’t be a chore. Head down to Clear Lake and visit NASA or continue on to Galveston for some sun and sand at the beach. Downtown is full of culture and fun and you can see the Rockets at the Toyota Center, the Astros at Minute Maid Park, take in a show at the Wortham or Alley Theater, visit a number of great museums or the Downtown Aquarium. Locally, there are grocery stores within walking distance, a YMCA with a pool, and a golf course just five minutes away. As the crossing point for both Tex-Mex, BBQ, and Cajun cuisine, Houston is also well known for amazing restaurants. You’ll discover some amazing local chain restaurants nearby your home during your extended stay.
