My wife and I love the mountains, so we rent houses regularly in Woodstock and surrounding areas. Cabin 3 was probably the best experience we've had. The space is slick and beautiful; glass, metal, and open spaces. The hot tub not only works, it's clean. The windows in the loft sleeping area are almost worth the price on their own. The gas fireplace will make you want to quit wood. It's also quite a bit more than a cabin, but the proprietors are smart to underpromise and overdeliver. We were well taken care of and given great directions by Mirav. I would say this is ideal for one or two couples, though it was just the two of us and we were thrilled to have the space to ourselves.

Amazing place
We had such a great weekend stay here I almost didn't want to write this and let others know about it. But I guess it's good karma. Renting this cabin from Mirav was one of our best getaway experiences. She's responsive, helpful, a pleasure to deal with and every detail of the stay was taken care of just as advertised. The cabin itself (and I use "cabin" loosely) is beautiful, set back from the road but very close to town, with an amazing comfortable interior. Fireplace, hot tub, flat screen, loft master bedroom, two porches, lots of windows, great kitchen and grill. Can't think of what else you'd need here. And we can't recommend it more highly if you're looking for a getaway in the area. In fact, we loved it so much we already booked our return trip!

woodland charm
We have rented a “cabin” in Woodstock. It is hard to express how surprised we were to find out , that instead of a shack we arrived at a two story, ultramodern beauty, with all the amenities one could dream up for a weekend away from the hassles of a Metropolis. The Villa, because that is what it should be called, is in a wooded, charming spot about 2 minute ride from downtown Woodstock. The two floors, with separate entrances and a patio and large deck respectively provided complete privacy for two couples. Indeed our stay proved to be spectacular: We had take-out food the first night and finished it with a long soak in the hot tub, nursing our favorite bottle of Pinotage. The next day we barbecued, hiked near a Buddhist monastery and had a delightful dinner in the Bear Café. While we did have lots of additional fun… it is rated so not here, not now. We will be back for the ski season, if for no other reason than to enjoy the gorgeous fireplace and resoak in the hot-tub. Next time we would like snow around us to compliment a glass of champagne. Mirav, the proprietor seems to be able to fulfill any and all wishes, so please, make it white.
