We had a great time- nice walk to the beach and beautiful area. The owners were very hospitable and kind. The home was comfortable, clean and great for our family. We had a great weekend- thank you.

The cottage is clean. We were a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Chatauqua creek is even within walking distance.

Quiet getaway yet close to town
This was my second visit to Fern Cottage and this time I stayed twice as long. Sea glass hunting on the beach, which is just a short walk down a private road, is excellent. The owners, Dale and Dave, are kind, thoughtful and always available if you need something or just have a question. It is less than a 5 minute drive into town and there are several very good restaurants there as well as the farmer's market on Saturdays. If you like lighthouses, there is one a few minutes down the road in Barcelona and a little further away, one in Dunkirk which you can tour. Driving the roads down to Jamestown and further south into Pennsylvania is just beautiful and the fall colors made the drive even better. I am really looking forward to my stay again next year!!!

Awesome place would visit again!
We had a wonderful time. We spent a week at the cabin in mid September. The place has a private entrance to the lake, which looks and feels like an ocean minus the salty water of course. We brought our two dogs with us and we all had a wonderful time off- well deserved must I say. The cabin is fully furnished and very comfortable. The hosts respect your privacy and happy to help if you need anything. We would definitely visit and stay at this cabin again.

Located less than a mile west of Barcelona Harbor just off of Route 5 in a quiet rural setting. Close to a small wooded area with a nice path to a beautiful private beach. We are directly in the heart of wine country and a short drive to Chautauqua Institution which offers concerts, theater, world famous speakers as well as 2 - 18 hole golf courses. Also located close by is Midway Amusement Park, Panama Rocks and Peek n Peak as well as many other points of interest. Cottage is fully furnished including linens. The roomy larger bedroom has 2 full size beds. Second bedroom has a queen size bed. There is 1 bathroom, washer and dryer, full kitchen, dining area and living room which has a queen pull out sofa. Cottage has cable and internet and rents from Saturday to Saturday.
