Get out of the city!" -Balki
We had a great time during a long weekend stay in Spring. Really nice to get out of NYC after a winter indoors. The kids really enjoyed exploring the yard and looking for bugs and worms. The playroom off the kitchen/dining room was stocked with blocks and toys. The grill makes tasty steaks. The host, Hari, was responsive and sent a helpful detailed memo with some places to eat and things to do.

Lovely stay, super practical and charming
The house is well maintained and has a very homie vibe. Really close to the ski slopes and town, so it is super easy to entertain your younger kids.

Cool cabin, cool area
We stayed in winter. Easy 90 minute drive from NYC. Cabin is awesome, very quiet and relaxing. The photo's really don't do the cabin justice. Hari's communication was great before, during & after our stay. He sends a very thorough email with instructions for the house and many tips on the local area, which really helped minimise the settling-in period. He also refunded the security deposit the day after we left. We were first time skiers, but Mount Peter seemed great for beginners and reasonably priced to us. Would love to go back in autumn. Highly recommend!
