We were visiting New York mainly to see the US Open tennis but also to do touristy things in the city. This place was perfect for us. It has a great location 2 blocks from a subway stop on the M/R/E/F line, or 0.6 miles from an express stop that lets you skip a lot of stations on the way into town. It is a quiet, safe neighborhood with a CVS and a couple of fruit stands very close by, and a Target and several restaurants about a half mile away. We needed to add an extra night at the last minute and the owner Jason worked with us very well. He was very responsive to email, text, and phone calls. I would highly recommend his place and would stay there again next time in NYC.

Pleasant and Clean Apartment
The apartment is very clean with all of the basic amenities, including a small kitchen, coffeemaker and coffee, lots of lamps, and a queen bed. Since the apartment is only for rental, it has closet space for hanging clothes and no personal items to get in the way. It was very quiet and the AC kept it cool. Jason was very helpful. He met us at the apartment and helped to carry our luggage, which we appreciated because the apartment is located in the basement with a flight of stairs to reach it. The only improvement I would suggest is adding a blow dryer since this is a bulky item that most travellers prefer not to carry in luggage.

Very Nice!
Jason was so helpful. He was readily available for any questions. Very clean apartment. I would recommend, if you need any groceries or toiletries, to go to Target. Not a fan of the Key Foods franchise. And Target was a much closer walk. Forest Hills has some really nice restaurants on Austin Street. Spend a day in the city and come back to Forest Hills for a nice meal. Or cook in the very clean kitchen.

Great Experience
The property exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and comfortable. Everything inside the apartment looked and worked in great shape just as described. The neighborhood was safe and convenient filled with multiple stores and restaurants just walking distance. It was also great that the subway station was only a five minute walk from the apartment. The host Jason was very helpful and accommodating. He provided great tips on tourist destinations and transportation information. Most importantly, he was willing to help us with anything we asked. We were impressed by his great communication with us. We would definitely return to this location and we would certainly recommend it to others. It was an overall great experience that only made our trip to New York even more memorable and pleasant.

My place is a fully private 1 bdrm apartment in a well desired area. It's conveniently located on Austin st. Which is located in Forest hills section of Queens County. The neighborhood is super safe and can be walked at anytime. The 112th Police precinct is just 1 block away. North Shore LIJ hospital is 2 blocks away. And Just 2 blocks away from the M and R train. You will be renting the entire apartment to yourself. In the living area, you will have a very comfortable chair, a sealy pillow top twin size mattress, a 47" TV with DVD player; to watch dvd movies; please note there no cable service connected to the tv. I just added super fast wifi, dining table with 2 chairs, dresser, and access to a private back yard. In the bedroom; you will have a comfortable futon-sofa; that converts to a full size bed. A work table with 2 chairs. In bedroom closet; There is an iron with ironing board. In the kitchen; microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster. My space is super clean and discreet. Comfortably accommodates 3 people.
