Home Away from Home
We stayed here for a week each of the last couple summers. It is exactly what we hoped for. Quiet setting, fantastic views and private access to the lake. The kitchen and bath are brand new in marble and granite, including a jacuzzi tub. Owners are on site, but property is large so you only see them if you need them. It was great they allowed pets so we didn't have to pay for boarding. A good overall experience.

Amazing view of the lake! The house has everything you need - brand new bathrooms, kitchen and all the appliances. Friendly and helpful owner. Would recommend to anyone.

Very Pleasant!
My family spend the 2011 Labor day holiday in the property. We went there a week after the hurricane Irene. Because of that the public beaches were closed earlier by the municipality, so we could not enjoy them. The beach is close to the property, about 5 min. drive. The house is clean, well maintained with renovated kitchen and master bath. It has everything a family would need to have a nice vacation. Sitting on the porch allows gorgeous views towards the lake and a pretty yard. The surroundings are very quiet. The road in front of the house has little traffic and with its scenic views is a good place to enjoy jogging, walking or a bicycle. The ferry terminal to Vermont is about a half a mile from the house. In our opinion, the Cumberland head peninsula is one of the best options to stay in Plattsburgh. As a whole, we enjoyed a very pleasant week.

Quiet lakeside bungalow with 113' lakefront. View Vermont sunrises and Green Mountains out the front, and beautiful Adirondack sunsets from the back of property. Newly furnished. Sloping 1.5 acre mowed lot. Huge screened-in porch overlooking lake. 10 minutes from downtown Plattsburgh, NY, about an hour to Montreal, and less than 1 hour to Burlington, VT.
Plattsburgh is a hotbed of summer activity for a small, lakefront community - or enjoy the serenity on 1.5 acres. Horse shows, concerts, sailboat races, and fishing tournaments are found close by. More activities and bigger-city amenities are near: Montreal about an hour, Burlington, VT about 50 minutes.
