My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience staying at Jude's lakefront property. Not only was the bedroom large and comfortable but Jude and his family were great hosts! They made us a delicious breakfast and provided transportation to the ferry.

very comfortable and great location
Very clean and comfortable room. Good amenities with fridge and microwave, ceiling fan and AC (which wasn't needed, the fan was fine). Note that the bathroom is only for the guests but you have to walk through the family's space to get there. Jude was a great host and made us a wonderful breakfast. The kids and the cat are very friendly too! We went to Ausable Chasm from there, which is just a few minutes up the road.

Warm family welcome!
My husband, daughter and I recently had a wonderful weekend getaway here. We were in the Burlington, VT area and started our adventure with the 1-hour ferry ride to Port Kent. We really felt like we were getting away from it all with this simple boat ride. On arrival, Jude was more than welcoming with an introduction to the house, advice about dining, and spots of interest. He provided delicious breakfasts served in our room or on the patio. Jude noted our dietary preferences and was more than gracious accommodating our occasional kitchen needs - corkscrew, ice etc. All members of the family made us feel 'at home away from home.' The location is just a short walk from a beautiful small private beach and nearby hiking. This was a lovely spot, and we'll surely come again.

Great Weekend Getaway
My girlfriend and I spent the 4th of July weekend at this property and had a wonderful time. The weather didn't always cooperate but that didn't stop us from taking advantage of the complimentary canoe and excellent location 500ft from the beach! Jude's breakfasts were delicious and the space was very comfortable.

500ft from the biggest and quietest beach on Lake Champlain and the Ausable River. View of lake from rental room. Kite surfing hot spot, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, snorkeling, canoeing, bicycle touring. 4 min drive from the NYC / Montreal train station and Vermont ferry. A lockable private room in a single family house with detached standing shower bathroom and natural latex queen size bed. Breakfast and free taxi to and from ferry and train station included.
