We loved our stay at the cottage! Very quiet with perfect access to the beautiful river. The home was very clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!

Great House for X-C Skiing at Lapland Lake
We rented this house for a holiday ski weekend at Lapland Lake X-C Center a few minutes away. I agree with the reviewer who said the pictures don't do the house justice. My son and I found the listing and didn't really expect it to be up to my wife's exacting standards, but it was! Very spacious and charming; HUGE master bedroom, large 2d bedroom, living room and dining room (plus 3d bunkbed room). Gas fireplaces in both large bedrooms. Fully stocked. Hector, the owner, was very nice. We would rent it again, winter or summer, and recommend it highly. One note: an earlier reviewer said the house didn't have WiFi or cell service. Hector and Marisol have since installed WiFi which works fine. However, both the house, and Lapland Lake, for that matter, are out of cell phone range, for Verizon at least. Adds to the Adirondack charm, but be aware of it! There is cell service in Northville, 10 minutes away.

Southern Adirondack getaway. Riverfront, year round cottage for your enjoyment. 165 ‘ waterfront on the Sacandaga River across a quiet, dead end road. River view from the house. Steps down to the river and relax with the sound of the water. Great for swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking etc. Hiking trail from back yard. Enjoy all the Adirondack has to offer.
The house is fully furnished, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, pots and pan, microwave, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. WiFi and Dish TV. Master bedroom with gas fireplace, cathedral beam ceiling, balcony overlooking river and mountains. Rear bedroom has cathedral beam ceiling, balcony overlooking mountains. Smaller bedroom with a bunk bed, 2 bathrooms, one with washer and dryer. 2 TV, radio, Direct TV and WiFi. Gas fireplace in living room, heating system and generator for emergency. Deck with grill and furniture.Back yard with fireplace and flowers. Off street parking. Very close to the Great Sacandaga Lake where to enjoy all kind of water sport.
We provide an electronic guest book with information of activities and places around the area. 3 miles to free boat launch at the Great Sacandaga Lake. 6 miles to LaplanLake/Ski Resort, 60 min to the Capital District, 70 min to Lake George, 50 min to Saratoga, 20 minutes to Amsterdam (big shopping centers and movie theater); 5 min to Northville (groceries store, pharmacy, health center, etc.), Minutes to Gulf Court. Year around festivals throughout the region and night activities.
