This is a very peaceful, quiet, and special place in the country on 6 acres right next to a state park where there are great hiking trails and park benches.

This is the ONLY property in world that gives you instant access to Chittenango Falls State Park. Take 7 steps from my property and you are there. Also the views to the west and sunsets are superb from the big stone patio out back. Close to the village of Cazenovia.

Cazenovia is a quaint little village with wonderful restaurants, old inns/pubs, gift shops, a beautiful lake, and a small college. Quick easy access to local wineries, "Cazenovia Beverage Trail" and "Route 20 Antique Dealers" are fun. L.L. Bean rents paddle boards at the Village Dock in Caz.

FOR FUN AT CHITTENANGO FALLS, RIDGEVIEW COUNTRY ESTATE: wade in Chittenango Creek upstream and downstream of Chittenango Falls. Look over the edge, hike to the bridge at the bottom. Hike to top of Caz Ski Club in back yard. Go to local casino (Yellow Brick Road) in Chittenango. 5 GREAT restaurants in Village of Cazenovia: Brewster Inn (dress up, make reservations), Brae Loch Inn (live music every Friday), Lincklaen House, BG Buda's Cucina Italiana, and Les Pates et les Nouilles (Thai); also La Cucina (Mexican) in Chittenango. Visit the quaint little shops and boutiques in the village of Cazenovia. Tour the Cazenovia Beverage Trail-- or the Finger Lakes Wineries (hire a limo)! Rent some of my 6 kayaks and go paddle around Cazenovia Lake. Swim in the back yard pool, etc. Read or grill on the patio. Walk around the 6.21 acres. Bring a good book and sit in some of the "pairs of chairs". Pet and talk to the dogs: they are great listeners.

I also have mountain bikes (1 man's and 1 woman's) and snow shoes here for an additional fee of $15 per day each. Kayaks are $25 per day each.

Feel free to stroll around the big 4.5-acre back yard, where there are pairs of lawn chairs strategically placed at all the best spots.

There are also additional rooms if you need more space.

OWNER LIVES IN SEPARATE BUILDING ON THE PROPERTY, TAKES CARE OF PETS, AND IS AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS / IDEAS / CONVERSATIONS.

amazing waterfall in New York.

From the beginning, communication with Paul was excellent, fast, and to the point. We arrived around 3 oclock, which is an hour earlier than check in, because Paul had the loft good to go already. Before we could get out of the car, Paul was already standing outside, ready to great us. He explained how to access the room through his garage, and asked us to check the room over, and to come back down and let him know if it was to our satisfaction, which it was and then more. Everything we had forgot for the night, Paul had thought of already. The loft was fully stocked with pretty much every am entity you could think of, and then many more that you wouldn't. The kitchen is small but well stocked with cooking instruments, utensils, and other things. The smaller details such as the multiple motion lights through the the garage to get outside, to the hospitality of Paul coming over to adjust the water heater within 20 minutes of check in, make this loft 10× better than staying at a hotel. The view from the balcony was awesome (the sliding glass door even included a list of different birds you could expect to see). The many windows and sky lights allow an amazing natural light setting. We definitely would stay again, and also would suggest it to anyone else looking to stayou 400 feet from one of, if not the most, amazing waterfall in New York.

Very large, well-appointed loft

Very large, well-appointed loft with balcony and nice views. The loft is in a separate building from main house, so extra privacy. Cazenovia and its surroundings are beautiful. Paul is welcoming and trustworthy. We hope to return here!

We enjoyed our winter weekend at Paul's Loft

We enjoyed our winter weekend at Paul's Loft a few miles north of Cazenovia. It was just as described and just as shown in the pictures. Very comfortable bed with great linens. If you are looking to enjoy a country weekend in a nice spot, we recommend this place.

It was quiet, comfortable

Loft A was a great place to escape for the holiday season. It was quiet, comfortable, relaxing and extremely clean. Paul was a great host and we had solid communication, I would highly recommend this as a get away location.
