With a prime location in midtown Manhattan, the apartment is located on the lower two floors within a townhouse, the ground and parlor floor. There is no elevator. There are two apartments located within the townhouse building.
The apartment is a mix of old world charm and new contemporary flair, complimented by high ceilings, oversized windows, marble fire mantels and brick walls and the piece de la resistance, your own beautiful private backyard oasis.
Enter the apartment via the ground floor private gated entrance. Upon arrival you will find yourself in an entry foyer with an area to hang your coats and keep your shoes. Walk a few steps down the hall and you will find yourself in the large open kitchen / dining /living area that opens onto the private decked backyard. You will also find one full bathroom and one bedroom on the ground level.
Proceed up the stairs where you will find three bedrooms, one bathroom and washer and dryer. Offering ebony stained hardwood floors the apartment has the look and feel of a modern downtown loft. Farmhouse chic meets city glam where the furnishings are in a simple contemporary and eclectic feel with décor from Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Ikea and West Elm mixed in with farm house antiques finds.
The apartment is clean and uncluttered. This is not a part time residence; so while you will find everything needed to make your stay enjoyable, you won’t find any personal belongings collecting dust or cluttering the closets.
The apartment features four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open living/dining/kitchen area will have plenty of seating and a wall mounted plasma screen television. There is a separate dining area with a large table that can seat 8 comfortably. The kitchen is open format with a kitchen island with counter with stools. It opens up into the living /dining room area and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen cabinets are white with stainless appliances & wood countertops. There is also a separate laundry closet with a washer dryer and iron and ironing board located on the second floor. Each of the four bedrooms has comfy queen sized bed with brand new linens including down comforters with 100% high thread count cotton duvet covers and over flowing with pillows. Please note that bedroom #3 does not have exterior windows and is an interior bedroom and will not have air conditioning in the summer. Each of the two bathrooms has been renovated in a clean modern style with white subway tile and colorful accent mosaic tile. Both bathrooms have bathtubs and shower and are identical.

The building is a beautiful turn of the century old world townhouse that has been completely renovated and modernized. The building contains only two apartments, an upper unit and a lower unit; each with its own private gated entrance.
Because there are only two units located within the building your vacation rental is considered a legal rental. Buyer Beware and research the vacation rental laws in New York City before paying for your vacation rental property. This is considered a legal vacation rental since there are only 2 units within the building.
