We had an awesome stay at the Swiss Miss. Starting from the local area, Swiss miss is located in central yet nice and quiet part of thousand islands. The house overlooks the river and offers amazing views of the sunset. The master bedroom is simply unbelievable. The house has been fully refurbished and everything inside is brand spanking new. The front deck is ideal for barbecuing. We had steaks breakfast lunch dinner. The house is very well organised. Youll find everything you might need from cutlery to dishwasher and washing machine etc. Everthing is brand new and very tastefully decorated. There are kayaks in the back dock that are there for the guests to use. One can rent a power boat at the marina which we did and enjoyed it immensely. The house manager, Burtt, whos a great guy, will take you out fishing at an extra cost. There's no Internet and no US cell reception (only Canadian). We didn't mind but can see that someone would. In summary if you're looking for a great new house, excellent value for money and a full experience of 1000 islands you won't make a mistake.

A paradise in Thousand Islands
Travelling a lot all over the world we found here a real paradise. We will remember forever: - the gentle wake-up, in all rooms surrounded by big trees, from the woodpeckers "tack-tack" or from the dark "too-too" from passing by cargo ships or the cackling of canadian geese - all the hidden places on the rock or in the big garden for reading, writing, listening music or just dreaming - the quit evenings on the terrace with the unforgettable sunsets over the canadian coast Next septembre we want to come back - and not for the last time!

Beautiful and serene
We were able to stay here while attending a celebration in the area. It is immaculate, quiet and well equipped. The views are incredible - from tankers traveling slowly by, loons and all sorts of birds, and beautiful terrain. The interior is beautifully decorated, spacious with 2 bathrooms. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

This beautiful home was recently purchased & renovated by a couple from Switzerland who decided to share this exquisite site when they are not able to enjoy it with their friends.
Overlooking the channel & Canada, the house offers a close-up look of ships as they pass and amazing sunset views. The property includes a private 37‘ dock in the protected waters of Blind Bay behind the house. Several boat launch sites available nearby.
Located in a quiet community 15 mi. N of Alexandria Bay, there are numerous activities close by; whether travelling on land or the river! With over 200’ of channel side water frontage,swimming & snorkeling from the river’s edge deck is a great way to cool off on hot summer days. You never know what you may catch fishing from the deck as well.
