Amazing vacation property

This property was beautiful, relaxing and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. The cottage is nicely decorated, not cluttered, and immensely clean. We are already planning our next tripS. The waterfalls outback were unexpected and completely awed me. We spent a day touring the Adirondack park and Old Forge. The cheese shop in town was fantastic and if you are in the area I would suggest you stop by. Can't miss it, there is a huge cow with sunglasses out front.

The Trout Fishing Getaway

This Trip was certainly needed, Started out as a weekend getaway for a night or two and by the time we had gotten there and seen the landscape and the beauty of this new cabin we could not resist staying another night or two!! Ralph the OWNER was Really great, he had pointed us to all the different hiking and nice places in the area and was the type of person that you felt comfortable working with. He had everything you possibly can think of provided at the cabin and he was only a phone call away and a short distance in case of emergency!! My girlfriend and I had done some fishing immediately upon arrival in the stream in back of the cabin and also caught some brown trout the first day there... right down the road was this awsome place on eatonville road,, at the end of it there is a foot bridge and you can drive back a ways and get out to a spectacular view and some really amazing native trout fishing all within arms reach of the cabin....My girl and I also took a day trip to old forge and found that most of the shops were open even early on in the season and we had some great food and good laughs. Big moose river was one of our favorites and we fished that and caught some larger fish and also hiked back to Remsen Falls off the hiking road. Saw some bear tracks at my hidden gem location at brown tract ponds off uncas road off 28... I grew up with my family and grandparents going to that camp and it still holds the same feeling... when we hiked in the dirt access road was not fully opened yet.. Caught a large mouth bass and enjoyed memory lane... I am very upset we had to come back to reality and get back to work. But hey If your reading this don't tell too many people because We WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK . More than once and don't want to have to stay somewhere else!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING IN RALPH'S CABINS!!!!! Aaron and Brandi Rochester , NY

Beautiful cabin in the Adirondack's

Ralph and Mary have a gem in a beautiful setting in the Adirondack's and we were fortunate to spend a long weekend away at this amazing cabin. The interior and exterior should be photographed for Adirondack Life and HGTV! Every detail down to the black bear outlet covers and the top quality bedding adds to the Adirondack experience. The furnishings are so comfortable and hand made by local Amish! This was a true labor of love and all who experience this place will want to come back. From enjoying the fire pit and listening to the waterfalls on the creek to hiking along the creek in the acres of woods on the deer paths and running to town for a meal was the perfect way to spend a long weekend in March. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be come spring, summer and autumn. We hope to be back soon!

Amazing location!

We were looking for a place to go and unplug. This cabin is set upon the falls/babbling brook and it was serene. The cabin is brand new and very clean as you'd expect. The wood burning stove was excellent and we had more than enough firewood set aside for us. Ralph stopped by to welcome us and he was very nice and hospitable. We forgot a couple of items like cooking oil but fortunately the Grieg Grocery Gas and Soda store was a 5 minute drive and had 1-2 of everything you'd need.
