The apartment has great light, 10 foot ceilings, and everything you would expect in your own home including an HD flat screen TVs, a newly renovated kitchen, Wireless Internet, Premium Cable; Fresh Towels, extra plush pillows, blankets and clean linens. The apartment is stocked with a hair dryer, a converter to US electric, iron, ironing board, silverware, pots/pans, coffee maker, microwave, cups, plates, you name it... If you need it, most likely it is already there.
There are two bedrooms with enormous closet space. One room has a queen size bed facing west, and the second has a full bed with a comfortable futon couch that folds down into a double bed. This room also has a private full bath off the foyer with a rain shower head. The apartment is delivered in immaculate condition and the expectation is that you will treat it like your own!
What else...
The neighborhood is great. You have a laundry mat in the building which is extremely convenient. A deli which makes great sandwhiches, breakfast and coffee right down stairs. Sushi, Mexican, Chinese, anything you want is available at your finger tips. You are ON broadway so the choices are endless... in addition to authetic NY spots, you also have your pizza, mcdonalds, dunkin donuts, and burger kings two blocks away. There are unique cafes, restaurants and shops to check out and it is always busy and safe so you can't really go wrong. If you have small children, There are a few parks near by, and the subway station is a less than 3 blocks away. In fact, you are perfectly sandwhiched between the 137th street (CITY COLLEGE subway stop) and 145th Street station. Both stations have trains that go downtown and take you DIRECTLY to TIME SQUARE in less than 15 minutes. You don't need to change subways just get on and hop off at 42nd Street and you're there.
This is the best alternative to staying in a generic, expensive hotel and the quality of the apartment is not to be beat. It is so handy and convenient.
Check in time is generally after 3pm and check out time is at noon. If you need to arrive early or stay later, I have a storage room that you can hold your stuff in until your flight or if the apartment is available you can leave it there.
