Thank you Christy for opening your home for us. The two of us had a wonderful time ! Absolutely loved the renovations you have done. The dock was great for me and also the ramp for taking my boat out. Was unsure putting it in so I used the public ramp which was not far. Learned later I would have used it to put in. No problem. Loved taking rides on the lake. One day we went to our favorite wineries. Highly recommend 3 Brothers in Romulus. Great wine and a friendly place. Most days we ate out on the deck. Loved watching the boats. Since I have been medical issues with walking much and brought my mobility 3 wheel scooter. I actually rode on the dock once, since it is so wide, with it! Most mornings Debi would walk a couple miles up the road and I would accompany her on the scooter. Great place to do that. Looking forward to next year. Thanks again !!

Awesome cottage on the lake
We had a great time at this lakefront cottage. Christy was super nice and quick with replying to questions, which is rare on Homeaway anymore. The house is being renovated but was in nice shape and held our 8 person group fine. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and even caught a huge bass! It was close to attractions as we went to Watkins Glen State Park and also to the race on Sunday at Watkins Glen International. We also visited Finger Lakes Distillery and Catherine Valley Winery. A little bar around the corner called the Lost and Found had really good take out. Loved the fire pit by the water. I would definitely recommend this house if considering staying in the Finger Lakes area.

2017 Family Vacation
This house was perfect! Thanks so much for allowing us to make such memorable memories at your Lake House. Our family enjoyed every part of the vacation from the kayak's to the watertrampoline and the amazing view every morning with my cup of coffee. Can't wait to see what is in store for the upgrades that are planned for the house they have done such a great job so far.

Cottage, 5 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 13)
Our cottage is a 2100sq cottage situated on the East side of Lamoka Lake. The cottage has 4 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths allowing family groups a place to get together. The house is a work in progress, although it has many modern amenities that you are used to at home.
The kitchen has a gas stove, full size refrigerator, large island for food prep or eating, toaster, keurig and regular coffee pot. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans and a few baking dishes. There is a gas grill outside as well. A few spices, cooking spray, salt and pepper are typically there and available to use. Paper towel, toilet paper and cleaning supplies are supplied as well. Kitchen towels and washcloths are provided.
3 of the bedrooms and the full bath are upstairs. One bedroom has bunk beds and an extra twin, one bedroom has a queen bed and one has a full bed (with a toddler bed in the corner). Each bedroom has either a closet, a dresser or both for clothing storage. On the first floor, there is a large room that has a king size bed and a queen size bed in the same room. This room has two large dressers as well. In a small sitting room off the kitchen, there is a twin bed with a trundle best used for children. This room does not have a closet or dresser. Sheets, blankets and towels are not provided. There are some pillows and are being replaced frequently. In the full bath, there is a washing machine (detergent and fabric softener is provided). There is not a dryer at this time but there is a line outside to hang clothing to dry. The house has gas heat as well as one gas fireplace and two propane heaters for use during colder seasons. Two bedrooms upstairs have window air conditioners.There is Wifi and Time Warner Cable provided. There are plenty of chairs to use around the fire and a large fire pit to gather and roast smores. There are two kayaks with paddles, a canoe, and some life jackets for renters to use as well as a long, new dock to dock your boat. The 200 sq feet of lake frontage is beautiful, serene and quiet. The cottage sits on a 1.1 acre lot that is very flat and perfect for yard games or spending time with your family and friends. We are currently working on trying to develop a swimming area in front of the cottage, right now, you would need to use a boat to get out into the lake for swimming.
