2 Bedroom, Elegant Adobe Home Walk to Plaza, Moutain views!

Home Description

Georgia O’Keefe’s first memory was of “light all around.” That’s a perfect way to describe our exquisite, two-story Santa Fe casita. A lightwell floods the dining room with morning sunshine and five expansive windows in the living room supply enough brightness to inspire great art.

You can live like a local in this gorgeous casita. We are part of Campanilla Compound, a community of 15 individual homes, each with its own private patio, located just four blocks from the historic Plaza. Like all of our homes, this two-story casita showcases traditional Southwestern architectural details, such as viga-beamed ceilings, Saltillo tiles and kiva fireplaces in the living room and bedrooms. French doors in both bedrooms open onto a sunny deck that overlooks our courtyard fountain and provides southwest mountain and city views. This spacious casita has three full bathrooms, accented with striking blue Talavera tiles, and an airy living room, perfect for entertaining. We’ve individually decorated all of our homes with furnishing and art hand-selected to showcase the elegance of authentic New Mexican living.

About The Area

Location is one the the casita’s best features. We’re in a quiet, residential neighorhood. A quick 10-minute walk will take you to all of the galleries, museums, restaurants and shops on the historic Plaza and Canyon Road. The Santa Fe National Forest and Ski Basin is just 12 miles away, providing you with close proximity to an endless number of trails, ski runs and breathtaking vistas.

Special property!

This property consists of one and two bedroom casitas with parking. We stayed in one casita for two weeks. As a courtesy of the office staff, we were able to see several others. The decors of the units are authentically and pleasingly "Santa Fe", with attractive furniture, inviting outside terraces, and wood-burning kiva fireplaces in living rooms and bedrooms. (See their website--it is visually accurate.) Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor grill, and washer and dryer. The units are very comfortable. For those in need of rest, you will be tempted to relax in your casita. The property is well-located, within easy walking distance of the historic downtown. The office staff is excellent--they couldn't have been more helpful. They are always part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Peaceful hidden authentic Santa Fe

As said before -this is a small community of casitas offering different bedroom /bathroom configurations -it is quaint -peaceful -tastefully decorated & spacious. I stayed in a split 2 bedroom/2 bath with 3 fireplaces -after a little mojo -got those fireplaces lit ! Units have a full sized kitchen for those wanting to purchase groceries and save some $. I would recommend it for families for that reason -sofa makes into a bed as well & there is space to spread out . Because it's a little off the main path , it could also be very romantic for couples. So, the location -on beautiful days (which are plentiful here ) walking is a must and it is not too far a walk to the plaza -that being said -it you want to walk all day to canyon road -or it's snowy, icy , or unusually hot -you will prefer driving your car to the plaza -in summary it offers a taste of authentic Santa Fe.

Excellent property close to square.

We have probably stayed in a dozen different VRBO’s in Santa Fe and this is one of the nicest. Sparking clean, lots of room, three separate yard areas and a nice balcony. And just a very doable short walk to the square (tho there’s a bit of a hill coming back, not a big deal).

Really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Really appreciated the private patios and decks even though the weather was too cool to sit out. The bed in the master is amazingly comfortable. We looked at the manufacturer when we left and will be buying a new bed at home. Well stocked kitchen but light on basic food stuff beyond salt and pepper, coffee, etc. Close to the plaza and very walkable, but still quiet. Staff was very response and nice to deal with. Overall one of our better stays. Highly recommend it .

Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Our unit at Campanilla Compound was so enchanting and very private. Exactly what we were hoping for when we booked. Close to everything that Santa Fe has to offer, we took full advantage of the close proximity to all the sights. The entire property was classic Santa Fe and absolutely what we wanted. The beds were super comfortable (the bed linens were top notch) and the double decks on our unit made enjoying an afternoon cocktail totally delightful. The place was spotless and well cared for and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxed stay. We would not hesitate to book at Campanilla again.
