The main cottage is 4 bedrooms on the second floor ( 3 queens and a king) and 1 single bed on the first floor enclosed sunporch.
There is an attached guest quarters that can be accessed through the main cottage or from its own outside entrance. It has a full kitchen, bath and a waterfront deck and it sleeps four.
Westport Island is a 2 by 12 mile island connected to Wiscasset by bridge. It is a great location in mid coast Maine, for easy access to all of the tourist attractions. The island has 3 preserves for walking/hiking. There is a brewery/organic farm that grows its own hops and produces outstanding beer. There is a country Inn and a lobster co op where you can purchase lobsters right off the boats. We also have our own local fishermen who are always happy to provide you with some of their daily catch.
It is a beautiful boating area with easy access to Bath, Wiscasset and Boothbay Harbor by water. Bring your boat! There is a public boat launch on the island and each of the close by towns have public landings for docking while you shop or explore! The cottage has a private dock. Kayaks and paddle boards can be rented on route one and delivered to the cottage. There are many islands in the bay and seals on the ledges in front of the cottage at low tide. Osprey and eagles abound...
