Smaller 2-bedroom cottage located in Ferry Beach. Just walk down Island View over to Eagle Ave. for beach access, about a minute walk +/-. BED SETUP: Master has 1 full bed; Bedroom #2 has a trundle bed that pulls out to sleep 2 (2 twin mattresses). There is also a full futon in living room. Enclosed front porch. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Bath has a shower/tub combo. Home has washer/dryer, full kitchen, microwave, WIFI, patio in rear with gas BBQ grille and picnic table. Pets are permitted with approval. Sorry, no cats due to allergies. Only $1,250/wk.
Ferry Beach is a quiet area south of Old Orchard. Saco areas are unspoiled by high rises. Beach is right down the street.  Camp Ellis is a short distance away, drive there or walk there.
Camp Ellis is a "Fishing Village" area….now dotted with new and the old. Unspoiled by high rises. It is still an active fishing area for commercial lobstermen & fishermen.  You can go over to the dock and watch both fishing vessels and pleasure boats. Nearby is the Camp Ellis General Store which features daily lobster catch during season & will cook to perfection while you wait or return to pick them up. They also serve breakfast. In Camp Ellis you can also buy lobsters at "boat prices directly from our friend & neighbor, the lobsterman Dean Coniaris, the "Fish ‘n Optician". Â
Deep-sea fishing boats leave from the docks in Camp Ellis. Kayak rentals are nearby for use on the Saco River, which goes out to the ocean at Saco Bay. If you have a boat, you can launch it at the docks here.
At Camp Ellis there is a very popular restaurant, eat in or take out (specializing in seafood), a bait & tackle shop, deep-sea fishing boats leave from the docks in Camp Ellis. Kayak rentals are nearby for use on the Saco River, which goes out to the ocean at Saco Bay. There is also a mile-long jetty to fish from or just to walk on, a large dock with both fishing & pleasure boats in the harbor, a large dock with both fishing & pleasure boats in the harbor. You can also fish right off Surf St. in Ferry Beach at high tide or off the beach itself. The tackle shop in Camp Ellis is on the dock area. You can fish off the beaches also. From the docks you can rent jet skis and also go parasailing too.

Changover days here are on Saturdays, check in at 2:00 PM; check out at 10:00 AM. Renters are asked to leave places "Neat & Tidy" clean. Empty fridge, put barrels out for trash and clean if messy. We do have a cleaner come in between rentals to make sure places are clean, at no extra charge for you.  If dog is coming, yard must be kep clean at all times from dog feces as kids play in the yard. Dogs must be leashed when walking or on the beach.Â
Once I receive your home address, # of people coming, home & cell phone #'s if you have both I'll email a contract with full instructions. If a dog is coming on vacation and allowed in the house, I need to know what kind & size for my records.
 Half down including tax required when booking and I give you 10 days to mail (15 for Canada). All balances are due one month prior to check in. Personal check, cashier check or money orders accepted or direct deposit to my bank. Sorry but I don't use credit cards. Â
If you book my Rental Policy will be emailed to you with more information. You need to bring sheets, beach & bath towels, soaps, some paper goods and beach chairs. All else should be at the house you'll need.
