NOLA - Long Weekend In Oct

This was our 3rd time staying here. After going to NOLA many times over the past 20 years. This is my favourite place to stay, because of the vibrant neighood it's located in. There are excellent restaurants and music rooms within walking distance of the house. The house is always clean and very comfortable. We've stayed with large groups for weddings and festivals. There was plenty of room and full size bathrooms help make it this way. There's a great central air system and ceiling fans in every room. Can't wait to get back there again

Guys trip

Using both properties, six guys spent four nights here in October. We played three rounds at the TPC Louisiana( 20 minutes away) and then went to what we thought was going to be a football game between MIzzou and LSU. Mizzou forgot to show up and we were out of there by half time. However, the property is great, plenty of room, safe, and walking distance to several good eating joints and a small grocery store. Way better than a hotel! If you want to get a feel for what living in NO is like, this is the spot!

Really fun place

My girlfriends and I rented this double house for a celebratory girls weekend. I had only ever stayed in the french quarter in the past and wasn't sure what to expect uptown. We loved it. The area was fun, accessible, and let us have a mellower home base while being able to get anywhere in the city. We thought we might go to the quarter every night but Oak street had so much real new orleans stuff going on we ended up staying near the house multiple nights and going to Maple leaf bar and stuff. The houses are huge, clean and move than we expected... we drove in with 3 cars and there was only really parking for 2 in the back but the other car was always parked right next to the house.... Our group would like to do the same trip again next year and stay back on oak street....

Great Spot!

We have rented from Brandon twice now and stayed in the left house so he asked us to come review this new listing for both houses which can accommodate twice as many people. I have walked through the other house as well and it's very similar. They are both great and he has done a great job restoring them. We LOVE the Oak street area so much that it's our new home when we are in New Orleans. The food music and lifestyle on Oak street are true NOLA without all the tourists
