Gorgeous venue, friendly host
Our group of 19 family members enjoyed relaxing together on the decks of this great property. It was easy to get to, but in a secluded, quiet area of the lake. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds good, and house clean and inviting. Thank you.

If you were to dream of a mountain cabin to take your family to for a winter ski vacation you would be looking for these cabins, one or all 3 depending on how many of the family could get away at this time. To meet the owner soon after you arrive and be welcomed graciously and thanked for coming again to his fantastic Mountain get away, would be think you were still dreaming. The cabins are so very homely and just welcome you in, they are so well cared for that they just beckon to be treated with respect and care. The landscape is beautiful and enough snow to enjoy helping the children build an igloo big enough for 6 kids at a time. We have in the past years had a many as 28 family members able (thats 5 young families) together and inviting Grandma and Grandpa, making our larger clan. The 2 upper cabins are so well laid out that a little pre-organizing places each young family in a comfortable bed room unit so young families are together and comfortable. As a Grandpa I have never seen that situation before, accept maybe in a Motel which is certainly not in a lovely homely cabin setting. All new kitchen and that is important to a grandpa, make for great meals to please a grandpa Oh and some others as well. Tables space for all in each cabin to seat all ready at eating time, and plenty of quality furniture to handle all that present at a time. The only thing I like more than this Harris Cove Cabins and property is my lovely family when we are all here enjoying ourselves, loving each other and having a great time as a loving family. Time goes quickly down those roads toward eternity! Try Harris Cove Lakeside Cabin area and slow that time down for a few days anyway. I know you won't ever forget the the quality time you'll enjoy togrther.

The Harris Cove Lodge @ LAKESIDE Vacation Homes is located on the peaceful east arm of Payette Lake. It is the perfect place for family reunions or a gathering of friends and family.
Harris Cove Lodge guests have full access to all LAKESIDE Vacation Homes facilties: marina, lake decks, lake area restroom and beach.
There are 6 large guest slips for guest boats at the 'private' LAKESIDE Vacation Homes marina.
It is short walk (150') to the marina, lake deck and beach from the Harris Cove Lodge.
The Payette National Forrest sits adjacent to LAKESIDE Vacation Homes across Eastside Dr. and is ideal for jogging, hiking, mountain biking or exploring. Guests will probably find Huckleberry's to pick for their pancakes from mid July to early August.
The 1st floor has hardwood (Hickory) floors and a large Ledge Stone (gas) Fireplace. The upper 2 floors are beautifully decorated and detailed with bathrooms near all of the bedrooms.
There are 2 large decks. Both decks have a beautiful view of Payette Lake and the surrounding mountains. There is a large Gas Grill (w/2 tanks of propane) on the main deck. The Gas Grill is on the deck year around.
The main deck is a great place for dinner, a glass of wine or a cold beverage on a warm Summer evening while enjoying an incredible sunset.

The Payette National Forest is just across Eastside Dr. at the top of the LAKESIDE Vacation Homes lane. There are several mountain trails giving guests a great place to go hiking, exploring, picking Huckleberry's and mountain biking literally right out their back door.
