Beautiful house located on the Snake river. I organized a large group of friends for a week of fly fishing. We've done this for 10 years and this year was one of the best. The house made a huge difference, we all loved it.

Very Pleased
The pictures, as beautiful as they look, don't even describe how nice this place is. Very clean, well maintained and well stocked. The back deck, overlooking the river, was our favorite part. We ate almost every meal out on the deck. Palisades Reservoir, nearby, is a beautiful boating and fishing lake. Great for water skiing and not at all crowded. Trail head for running/hiking trails up Palisades canyon to the two Palisades natural lakes are very close. We saw moose, eagles, pelicans and more. We had planned to spend an afternoon and dinner in Jackson, but we decided we'd rather stay here and fix our own meal and enjoy yet another evening on the deck and around the fire pit. No regrets. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway in beautiful surroundings.

Perfect Vacation and Fishing Rental Home
This is the second year I've stayed at this very comfortable riverfront home/lodge. It located along the finest stretches of fly fishing water in the country. Lots of good sized Rainbows, German Browns & Cuttthroats. And the fishing begins nearly off the backporch. A driftboat is available for rent from the owners or one can rent a boat and guide from operators in the area. The home itself is very roomy and comfortable for any season of the year. I was there in the Fall and early Summer. The fall colors are spectacular on the surrounding mountains. The home is surrounded by a lush lawn which makes it a perfect place for children to play - - or practice your fly casting techniques. There's also an area for a campfire. It's off the road which makes it very quiet. The home is well appointed with all the creature comforts. A beautiful kitchen which looks out on the backporch, lush lawn and rolling river. Many comfortable beds in 4 separate bedrooms and bathrooms which gives lots of privacy for multi-family use. It has a huge deck which runs along the entire back portion of the house. Great for BBQ's and social gatherings. For those who wish to sightsee in the area, both Idaho Falls and Jackson Hole are less than an hour away. Lots of good restaurants and fun shopping in both. If you love the outdoors, great fishing, and all around serenity of a mountain vacation, I can think of no better area and home to stay. Enjoy!!!

Wonderful Experience!!
I have stayed here several times over the past few years and found amenities, atmosphere, and location uncomparable. I live in the mountains near a scenic lake and river, and when I say that this lodge and surrounding property are breathtaking, I am comparing them to one of the finest fishing, vacation, and recreational areas in the country. If you are into shopping you will need a car and a day, but if you are into fishing, just grab a pole and step out the back door. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful lodge home on the South Fork of the Snake River. Fly-fish for trout from the banks of this property. See eagles, osprey, moose, and other wildlife in the immediate area. Enjoy a campfire on the large grassy area; or dinner on the large deck. 45 miles from Idaho Falls and 50 miles from Jackson Hole WY; 2 1/2 hours south of Yellowstone National Park. Palisades Reservoir is 2 miles away and offers many water recreational options.
