This vacation home is nestled on 280 feet of Natural sandy beach in a very private cove located just 18 minutes from Cd’A. Few properties on Lake Cd'A face south offering full sun exposure. While sitting on the spacious 750 square foot deck, planning your day and looking east at the majestic mountains, you’ll be looking forward to a day of full sunshine for great swimming, boating, or fishing off the private dock. The spacious 2000 square foot main floor has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, covered breeze way, living and dining room, plus bonus lower level, with 1 bedroom, 2 showers, and 1/2 bath, giving families plenty of room to spread out.

The Beach House was designed to capture spectacular views of the lake and mountains with floor to ceiling windows in the living/dining rooms and 3 of the 5 bedrooms. The 8’ X 8’ rolling glass doors open the entire kitchen and living room to the sun deck. After a fun-filled day on the water or unwinding on the beach you’ll be able to relax on the deck while barbecuing dinner, watching the sun set, and listening to the gentle waves. When the evening winds down, you can sit on the deck next to a gas fire pit where s'mores are an option to end your summer evening. In addition to the main floor living area, the Beach House has a 700 square foot lower level just steps off the beach with 1 bedroom, 2 showers, ½ bath, laundry room, and covered outdoor sitting area for your enjoyment. Because the Beach House sits on the water’s edge, there is a tram to transport yourself and groceries from car door to kitchen door, or you can enjoy taking the scenic pathway through the forest.

This vacation home has 2 private acres for exploring wildlife habitat and assuring tranquility. Lake Coeur d’Alene is one of Idaho’s largest lakes so you can spend your whole vacation exploring. From the private dock cruise up the lake on your boat (just 10 minutes to downtown) where you can enjoy fine restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and cinemas. If your game is golf, you can choose between a dozen local courses along with the ‘famous’ Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa and Golf Club. Sitting on the beach soaking up the sun, taking in the views, and relaxing is always a favorite way to spend the day, or you may want to take in some of the many water sports too.
We have given the property an extreme ‘makeover’ with new wall and window coverings, light fixtures, mattresses, furniture, rugs, linens, individual room heating, and accessories in a 'Hawaiian Theme.' Offering a CLEAN and NEW level of comfort and relaxation for your family vacation experience. For up to minute Availability dates and Bedroom Configuration Call Owner.

Our Family Reunion

Our family loved your beautiful home. Our stay here was simply amazing and enjoyed by three generations of our family. The kids loved being in the lake and the supply of ‘water toys’ kept all of us entertained. Kayaking on the lake was so relaxing, the cool water invigorating, and the peaceful morning views from the deck cathartic. We really appreciated the tram for the grandparents (not to mention luggage and groceries!) And we really liked the open living space with all the tropical and beach-themed décor, it reminded us of Hawaii! It was a pleasure to wake up each morning to breathe in the cool, fresh air, hear the water gently lapping on the beach, and see the billowing clouds at sunrise tinged a rosy pink. This is a place we will think back upon fondly as we conjure up what comes to mind when we hear the word “vacation.” Your attention to detail is what makes this a vacation “home.” Thank you for letting use your home so we could experience all this.

AWESOSME FAMILY REUNION

This beach house was the perfect place for a family, age ranging from 5 to 75, to gather together. The house was immaculate, the furnishings and beds very comfortable and all the amenities were available. Pam and Charlie greeted us giving us a very thorough rundown on all aspects of the property plus a welcome pineapple. The days on the private dock, swimming and sunning and the nights around the fire on the deck were special. Everyone agreed that this was the perfect place for our vacation.

It so Pretty!

We had our 25th family reunion here and many came from the east coast. They’ve been here before, but we decided this was the nicest house of all our reunions over Hawaii, Arizona, and Florida! We had a standing joke- we would say “It’s so pretty” every day because you couldn’t help remake how beautiful the days were and when it became evening- you had to remark again! The house was laid out well to accommodate our large group and we didn’t feel crowed. The big table was perfect for dinners, drinks and lots of games! The location on the bay was perfect; we went in both directions toward the resort and then south to Rockford bay. Lots of great memories Patti & Jim July 31st, 2010

We could have stayed all summer

This lake house exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to find it had separate guest quarters with three bedrooms, separated by a breezeway from the main house, which had the master bedroom. Down the outdoor stairs was an additional bedroom, along with beach showers and a laundry room. We brought our own boat and kept it tied up at the private dock. It was so easy to hop in the boat for skiing or a ten minute boat ride into the resort public dock for coffee in town. Our kids also enjoyed the paddleboat and beach toys that were provided, with a protected area for swimming and beach play. The kitchen was small but well stocked with everything needed for cooking, and we ate all our meals on the beautiful patio, which also had a BBQ and a fire pit. Cars have to be parked above the house, with a tram for getting down. This allowed my 95-year-old grandmother to come and visit without having to negotiate a bunch of stairs (just 2 large ones from the bottom of the tram into the house). The owners met us at the property when we arrived, with coffee, a pineapple for grilling, and a Wi-Fi card for easy Internet access. We stayed for 9 nights and were sad to leave this little piece of paradise. Thank you, Pam and Charley, for sharing your beautiful home with us!
