Beautiful well maintained property.
Hi folks, I had my 5th visit to Little Torch Key and my second stay at the Lazy Lobster and I'm booked to return in the spring. I love the Lobster, ideal location, neighbors, comfortable, relaxing. Tom has been excellent to communicate and deal with, can't say enough. Many upgrades to the Lobster make us really feel at home. See you in the Spring.

Exactly what I was looking for
I stayed at the Lazy lobster for the month of May. This was my 5th vacation in the Little Torch Key/ Big Pine area so I was already familiar with the local attractions. Key West, Geiger Beach, Bahia Honda, etc. The Lazy Lobster was a perfect spot to relax and make my own for the month. Although my schedule did not alow me to meet Tom we communicated via email of phone. Tom was always available and accomidating. However i met all the neighbors, Sharon, Ray, Charlotte, who made us feel right at home. also asking if there was anything we needed. Ray also invited us access through his yards to launch our kayaks in the sea access canal. Now planning my return trip next year. Rob

Home away from home
The Lazy Lobster is the kind of place you can settle in to right away and feel cozy and comfortable. Tom has decorated his place delightfully, and it has everything a couple needs to enjoy a long stay in the keys. We especially enjoyed lounging by the canal and having an evening glass of wine, while watching the fish and birds. Biking was great- both short rides around the neighborhood and long rides into Middle and Big Torch keys. We played around in our kayak in the neighborhood canals and also swam in the canal a few times though the water was chilly. The Wi-Fi was very fast and worked all over the property. TV had lots of channels including the sports channels we like. Electric grill on porch was convenient and easy to use. Bed was comfy, shower great, towels plush. Bahia Honda State Park with the best beach in the keys was a short drive away and Key West was only about a 40 minute drive. We also enjoyed the big Sat-Sun Flea market on Big Pine (good for produce), and Bagel Island became a routine stop for us. There is a lot to explore in the lower keys and the Lazy Lobster is a great home base. Tom was totally available by phone or email and is a wonderful landlord. We hope to visit again in the future.

Fun times!
Really cute, tastefully done with great outside area. We had a great time at the Lazy Lobster, the location was perfect for us, easy drive to Key West, Bahia Honda, and Marathon. We had our boat with us and there is a free boat ramp a few blocks away which was easy to use, we spent a lot of time on the boat going to picnic island and fishing. We traveled with our 11 yr old and 4 year old and the space was fine, we loved the porch and that the kids could swim in the canal out back. We will be back, thank you Tom, you were a pleasure to rent from!!

This great 2 bedroom mobile home (with completely re-modeled/upgraded kitchen and living room) is situated in a terrific private community "off the main tourist path" with your own personal dock on a 20ft. deep swimming canal (No Boats) which leads directly into the Gulf of Mexico. Right outside the cozy screened-in lanai is a private courtyard/sunning area complete with privacy fence and stone pavers which lead to the large white cement dock complete with a new stainless steel swimming ladder. There is also another tanning/lounging area with lounges, chairs and a small outside table-set right on the dock. The property is nicely landscaped (very tropical), has a fenced-in yard with parking for two cars. This is a beautiful place to spend cold winter months basking in the warm Florida sunshine, and relaxing ('Conch style') in a scenic water front setting.
Location: You are/would be equal distance between Key West and Marathon Key; 30 minutes either way! Atlantic Ocean on one side.......Gulf of Mexico on the other, about 2 miles apart; you won't find that in any other place except in The Keys!! You will truly be in 'The Conch Republic'!
Water access: SKUBA, snorkeling, sky-diving, mangrove tours, back-waters kayacking, Key Deer Statuary, ship wreck sites, great night life, FRESH seafood galore, kayaking, seaplane to the Fort on Dry Tortugas Nat'l Park, drive to the Dolphin Research Center, utilize Looe Key Dive Center, Bahia Honda State Park, visit Theater of The Sea, the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum, the Hemingway House ...................all of this is readily available to you; plus 'maybe' a chance to see The Blue Angels Air Show at the U.S. Naval Station at Boca Chica Key. Do you need more???
Don't forget that the 4-star restaurants, tourist shops, famous pubs, street entertainers, the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square...or watching a Keys sunset from a charter sail boat, are all available in Key West. This (and more) is only 30 minutes away from your little 'piece of tropical paradise'!!
