Cute & Cozy Cabin
We enjoyed our stay in the Prescott log cabin. It was a perfect spot to unplug and relax. We enjoyed taking our morning coffee in the outdoor area behind the cabin, as well as enjoying wine and cheese on the covered patio during the afternoon thunderstorms. It's conveniently located close to the downtown activities and a short drive up the mountain to Jerome. Dave and Karen were attentive to all our inquiries before and during our stay. There was even a little toy awaiting our dog when we arrived! I definitely recommend this property.

Great little place and wonderful hospitality
Although this little gem of a cabin is in town, it feels like you are in nature away from civilization. The place was immaculate, well stocked with items one do not expect from a rental (Foodie items). It is as described by the owner. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival, letting us know the ins/outs of the place. This is pet friendly place and our 13 yr-old gal had a gift waiting for her - a gift bag with toys! Not to be left out, we had a little bottle of Prosecco and chocolates! This place is 15 minutes away from Willow and Watson lake, a few minutes to downtown. We had one small glitch with the front door knob and the owner was there in 10 minutes tops to fix it. Communication through-out reservations to check out was timely. If you stay at the cabin, walk to Rustic Pies, a suggestion from the owner. Or head to Lynx lake cafe (8-9 miles out) for a great meal and a day at the lake.

Sweet Little Cabin
The cabin was just as described! Karen was there to meet us and tell us all about the home and about Prescott. Everything was lovely and the house was very clean. Karen had lots of literature about Prescott, hiking, food - you name it, she had info on it. Keep in mind, the cabin was built a long time ago so it doesn't have soaring ceilings and large rooms. But it is very well appointed with all the amenities you need. A well stocked kitchen, bathroom and a comfy bed. It's on a little street off the main drag and is very quaint. Loved it!

Howdy! This is the Real Deal and Just Listed! A Bona fide Log Cabin, built in the 40's, we believe, possibly older but that is as far back as the records go. This rustic Log Cabin is cute and quaint and located on 1.25 acres with a seasonal creek, tall elms and cottonwoods and lots of birds and wildlife to watch. You'll love the logs walls, log ceiling beams and hardwood floors throughout the cabin. Even the authentic wood kitchen cabinets with rope pulls are adorable! We outfitted the dining room with kitchen chairs made with rodeo cowboy upholstery and an oak table with hand-painted bears and bear claws on it for you to play games or puzzles on.
Antique and Mid-century Modern furniture, Southwestern patterns and original artwork of Native Americans, Cowboys and Arizona nature round out the decor. We did some renovations (with more to come!), scrubbed the floors and logs and put a lovely fresh coat of paint in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room. There's a new water heater and good pressure for a nice, hot shower. We've added new curtains, door locks, a new fridge and outdoor seating. The front porch has a Flagstone floor with a bench and rocking chairs where you can sip your coffee in the morning or wine in the evenings while you watch the birds and wildlife. In front of the cabin and past the meadow (newly sown with Poppies, Lupines and Southwestern Wildflowers) Miller Creek runs seasonally after snows or Monsoon Season. In back of the cabin an herb garden grows with oregano, sage, mint, rosemary and thyme along with penstemon and salvia flowers, clematis, sweet-smelling jasmine, butterfly bushes and grapevines of Chardonnay and Muscat.
A high Pine Bed reigns over the bedroom with Iron Scrolling and a deep Serta pillow-top mattress on top of box springs. You'll feel like the Princess and the Pea on this massive bed. High-thread count sheets, a cottony quilt and two styles of pillows are available to you: non-allergenic bamboo or doctor-recommended, cervical support. Wall Lamps provide lighting for night-time reading. A large closet holds a dresser, built-in shelves and plenty of room for hanging clothes.
We just installed a new water heater and toilet in the bathroom and there's a shower and pedestal sink. A medicine cabinet will hold your sundries.
The Kitchen is Furnished with a Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, Toaster oven and Coffee maker. Cooking utensils, pots and pans, glasses, coffee cups, silverware and dish towels are provided. There is a storage closet, cabinets and shelves for extra storage and there are cleaning supplies under the sink. Coffee and filters, salt and pepper, coconut oil and a few other items are supplied.
An oak table sits in the dining room with vintage chairs upholstered with rodeo cowboys. Yeehaw! You can use this table for dining and the other oak table for playing cards, games or puzzles.
The Western theme continues in the Living Room meeting a Mid-century sofa and antique chairs. An iron coffee table compliments the design with Southwestern cutouts and a stone top. A TV is not provided at this time but there is High-speed Internet for streaming movies.
We'd love to have you come visit. And as the cowboys say in Potter's Cowboy Slang, You're "as welcome as a pat straight flush"!
