Our family goes to "Jack's Cabin" 2 to 3 times every year for more than 10 years. The cabin is always clean and comfortable and we LOVE that we have the use of 3 boats and a HUGE pier... right on Rainbow Lake!! The owner, Jack, is a great guy!! ...and an honest business man and easy to work with. We always receive the cabin keys and our security deposit refunds promptly!! I recommend this cabin for any vacationers... the setting is very private and peaceful. We're gonna keep going back...thank you Jack for letting us use your cabin!!

Hope to come back again and again
This cabin did not disappoint. We have often been disappointed in the past when a rental did not look anything like its photos. "Jack's Cabin" looks exactly like its advert, plus it has what the camera can't capture, a coziness and warmth that you can almost feel welcoming you. The view is stunning, the place just begs you to to relax; to fish (or not); go out in the boat (or not); have a great BBQ on the patio overlooking the lake (or not); cook a big Thanksgiving dinner (OR NOT, haha)---in other words, whatever is going to make your stay perfect is exactly what you can do here! And we loved the prices! And it was just squeaky clean,which delighted my slightly germophobe husband! Thanks, Jack, for sharing this lovely place with us. We will be back!

A gem on the lake in Arizona
Jack's Place is cozy, clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced and right on Rainbow Lake in Pinetop/Lakeside Arizona. Jack is a real gentleman. He responds quickly and accurately to questions and was very helpful in getting us a rental trolling motor for the boat at the cottage. The porch deck juts right into the lake so you can fish from the back porch. Or you can go down to the boat deck to fish. My family absolutely loved it and the kids caught lots of fish. Every morning the ducks and their ducklings arrive for a handout, which the kids loved and there is a resident bullfrog who croaks to you every night. Beds were very comfortable as was the reclining chairs in the living room. Air conditioners in the cabin. There is a handyman on call who responds immediately if you have a need. Very nice master bedroom bathroom with a huge tub. Lots of hot water. A perfect place for a family retreat. Also, restaurants in the area are very good with great burgers and salads. Finally, Jack returned our security payment the very day he received back our key. No waiting for the check.

Great Get-Away
We had the good fortune of staying in this cabin with a group of friends. We enjoyed both the inside and out of this nice cozy cabin. This cabin is situated right on the lake. It was so nice to stand out on the deck and take in the beautiful view. That was the BEST. Could have done that all day just sit out there and read and take it all in. We loved eating and spending time out there. It doesn't get better than that. Inside we were able to relax in the cozy living room which had a nice fireplace and TV along with comfortable furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. We had plenty of room to sit down and eat in the dining area. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were nice. Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. Not hard to get to either. Can't go wrong here. Book early to get a spot as it is popular. Not hard to see why. Highly recommend.

Fish right off the deck or from the 36 foot private pier. There are also three 12 foot fishing boats with ores and life jackets for vacationers to use while staying at "Jacks Cabin". The town of Pinetop is only 3 miles away if you need to shop or dine at one of the local restaurants. For skiers and snowboarders Sunrise Ski Resort is only 27 miles away. If you prefer playing in a Casino there is one only 10 miles away. Horseback riding, Go-carting and movie theaters are all within 10 minutes of "Jacks Cabin". Pinetop/Lakeside is Arizona's vacation land that offers cool summer temperatures and a snow filled winter season. "Jacks Cabin" is a very unique vacation spot because of its rare lakefront location. There are no streets, sidewalks or highways around "Jacks Cabin". A Private Road takes you to the property. The road dead ends at "Jacks Cabin".
