Greer is a gem in the Arizona White Mountains. Spectacular views of the meadows and mountains surround Greer at an elevation of 8,500 ft. You have immediate proximity to hiking, fishing, mountain biking and skiing/snowboarding/sledding at Sunrise only 15-20 minutes away.
Come relax in our 2 acre private, family owned lodge built with hand hewn logs from the local forest. The Lodge is built over the old Greer rope tow to the top of the ski slope. The Little Colorado River runs near both sides of our property about 200 feet away. Enjoy the cool mountain air with all the wildlife that call Greer home. We have wild turkeys, Elk, Deer and beautiful birds visiting our property. Hear the Elk bugle while sitting on the large deck overlooking the pond full of large Rainbow trout. Enjoy hot chocolate with the fire blazing while it is snowing.
Our property offers 2 bedrooms (queen bed in the master, queen bed and twin bunk beds in the other bedroom.
Large rock fire pit to enjoy smores or roast a pig. Private gated entry lined by trees. Our private well has the best water we have tasted. Propane BBQ grills and a sauna in the guest house.
Any season in Greer is a magical experience. In the summer you'll enjoy green meadows and lush forest of Ponderosa Pines and Aspens. The temperatures rarely exceed 76 degrees. The beautiful fall colors peak in October and it is the best time to hear the Elk bugle. Winter brings great skiing, snowboarding and sledding which is only 15-20 minutes away. Enjoy the snow from the large windows by the fire while enjoying hot chocolate. Spring is one of the most beautiful times when the landscape is in bloom.
Various wildlife of the White Mountains can be seen regularly throughout the year so bring your camera.
Get your horses out of the heat! Enjoy riding through our private easement that connects directly to various established National Forest trails. We have a 4 stall stable with automatic watering, corral, tack/feed room and a fenced pasture area.
