Very comfortable stay.
We had many choices to rent and this one just seemed to stand out as far as space, location and price. The owner was very responsive in the rental process and when we had any questions. We only used the bed in the master bedroom and it was very comfortable. The patio is very private and we were able to see many varieties of birds and a few animals. And the view of the Mountains--wow. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. There is a carport with this unit and it was greatly appreciated. Overall a great experience in a very nice neighborhood.

Breathtaking view
Breathtaking view of Santa Rita mountains. Very comfortable home with everything we needed and more. Kitchen equipped with everything for any meal. Great entertainment possibilities with plenty of outdoor seating on the patio with BBQ. Both king and queen beds incredibly comfortable. Internet WiFi consistently fast and reliable. Cable TV had more channels than we needed. Quiet subdivision with friendly, helpful, welcoming neighbors. Good walking and biking. Green Valley Recreation well worth the nominal fee for pools, fitness, programming, classes and lectures, performances, and special interest groups. Tucson and all its possibilities just a short jaunt up the interstate.

This 2Br-2Ba rental has everything you need to enjoy the (mostly) warm days and (mostly) mild nights in Green Valley during the winter months. The kitchen is well-equipped with first class cookware and table settings for four. Enjoy the beautiful and unobstructed mountain view, the gas BBQ or the gas firepit all from your quiet and private back patio. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and features a large picture window where again you have a perfect mountain view. The flavor of the neighborhood is quiet and the street has very low traffic since it is the next-to-last house on a dead end street. This unit is so well set up for your enjoyment and includes all the amenities you will need; toaster, blender, mixer, coffee maker, towels, linens, ect ...just like home. This residential section, known as "Desert Hills II", like most of Green Valley, specializes in serving the age group of 55 years and up. You will find many activities to keep you busy if you choose to buy a monthly guest pass from the Green Valley Recreation Department. Besides the gym and swimming pools (13 to choose from) they offer many classes and activities including yoga, bridge, pottery making, woodshop, photography, bird watching, bocce ball, tennis and many more. And needless to say, golf is VERY popular here given our five courses. And on the days where you just feel like being a couch potato then kick back and enjoy the big flat screen TV and bake some cookies or something. For the "Snowbird" season (January thru April) I have a 90 day minimum stay during this time block. To lock in your dates I ask for a small booking deposit. I also ask for a refundable security deposit of $200 sent in with your last payment 30 days prior to arrival. Want to be here in the summer months? You will find dry humidity and lots of AC as the temps are in the 90's F, days are warm however this is a great time to take advantage of early morning golfing and afternoons around the many swimming pools. For off season I offer a 10% discount on stays of 10 nights or more. If you are a smoker or a pet owner PLEASE do not rent here.Questions always welcome.
About The Area
This is a very popular area for "snowbirds" (becouse of the generally nice weather), golfers (because there are six golf courses), hikers/campers (because of the close-by Santa Rita mountain range) and excercise fanatics (because of the 13 gyms and huge heated pools that the GVR runs here). The streets allow golf carts full access and the lanes are also great for biking. Good shopping and great restaurants. It's the kind of area where nobody knows a stranger.House Rules

Great for retired folks as there are wheelchair ramps, if needed, to every business. Not all that good for kids as they are rarely any here to make friendships. Green Valley doesn't even have any schools.
