Historic Downtown Carriage House

Details

Home Description

This apartment is in a classic looking 1920's stone carriage house in a prime location in center of historic downtown Flagstaff. The property is entirely enclosed with a quaint lighted stone and cedar wall with free off-street parking, stone fire pit and sitting terrace, and grassy lawn. You'll be within just a few minutes walking distance to dozens of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and public transportation. It's warm, cozy, secluded, accessible - you’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the location, and the lighted enclosed exterior and fire-pit stone terrace. This is a perfect place for all types of travelers and activities.

This malapai stone house is a perfect mix of classic and modern, with warm wood interiors and modern updates, including hydronically heated wood floors and a freshly remodeled bathroom. The kitchen is original with a few aesthetic improvements, and the queen bed is new and comfortable. In addition, the entire house is on a charcoal filtration water system.

Sweet apartment, great location

Jac was very friendly and welcoming. We used the place while moving our daughter into her dorm room at NAU. It was a nice place to come home to - would've enjoyed staying longer.

Anniversary trip

Everything is so close to this location. You can walk into town and hop a transit bus, buy an all day pass and see many areas of the town without driving. Loved the quaintness of the apartment and that a lot of the original features were kept. Just watch out for the thresholds - you'll stub your toe once and not do it again! The grounds are beautiful - Jac does a great job with all the beautiful flowers.

Charming home, great location!

I loved staying in the carriage house. A short walk to the historic downtown. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. Jac is awesome. Available to help with anything but quiet (since he lives in the other apartment). The only caveat is the house is near a busy street. The weather was very warm so I left the windows open and there was a good bit of traffic noise. I solved that by putting the fan in the bedroom at night to cool the room off and muffle the noise. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it!
