Great Family Getaway!
My family of 8 adults and three children recently spent a week at Summer Wind. It was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be away from the crowd, and this house was the perfect location. It really did feel like we had the whole beach to ourselves. (We left our easy-ups on the beach the entire week, with no worries.) The house was roomy, both bedrooms upstairs had a private bath. Downstairs are two nice size bedrooms, a bunkroom for the kids and a full bathroom. So there was plenty of room for everyone. The beach was a very short walk through the sand, and the pool was just a few steps from our back door. The pool is shared with three other houses, but most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves. We spent alot of time on the concrete slab under the house playing games. There was always a great breeze, and it was also a wonderful place to catch a nap. I also loved that my entire family could fit around the large kitchen table. There is nothing I would change about our trip. Yes, Summer Wind is not a fancy condo, but it is a quiet, private, homey little place to enjoy family. We will definitely be back!

Summer Wind - Beachfront
We had a family vacation in the house with 4 adults and 3 children. The space was perfect and accommodated the whole family. The 4 bedrooms all have queen size beds and were good size. The bunk room was nice for 2 of the children. The kitchen was very well stocked and included all items you would need to prepare any and all meals. The house had great access right to the beach and the pool next door was wonderful. It can be a little noisy in one of the bedrooms if someone is using the pool really early in the morning but it was not a problem. I would definitely return to the house again.

Family vacation
We had our first family vacation with kids and grandkids at Summer Wind. The house was perfect. 8 adults and 3 young children and 1 dog. The beach is at your fingertips and the swimming pool is right next door. Everything was provided except the food!! Shopping was only 16 miles away - which was close enough but far enough away to be out of the rat race of traffic. This is NOT a complaint: The dryer takes 2 and 3 cycles to dry clothes. May need looking at. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and of course would go again. Harris properties was excellent to work with. Thanks for a great family vacation.

Great and memorable time at Summer Wind
We had a WONDERFUL stay in Summer Wind for a family wedding. We had three of the four houses rented and I was responsible for cooking for 30 folks for the wedding. The houses are close enough to allow visiting but far enough apart that you never heard any sound from them. The kitchen in Summer Wind was VERY well stocked with cooking equipment, measuring cups, spoons, and just about everything I needed. The beds were very comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and it was so fabulous to be able to step out the door to the beach. We felt like we were on a private beach. My husband is not a beach person and he really enjoyed the large screen TV. We were lucky enough to see a nest of sea turtles hatching and running to the ocean, and the Blue Angels practiced a couple of days! We are hoping to return next year.

Loved it
We love it fun for everybody that was with us. Will be back that is for sure. The house is the perfect size for 12 and the perfect location on the beach

Summer Wind sits directly beach front with expansive views and direct beach access You will enjoy the large partially covered beach front deck perfect for taking in the sun or relaxing in the shade The beach front views continue inside with the kitchen dining area and living room all overlooking the magnificent Gulf Coast The living area is an open area with an expansive vaulted ceiling The living room features a large LCD TV There are two master suites upstairs both featuring limited gulf views and queen beds The two other guest bedrooms are down stairs and are also queens Sleep 2 more kids in the bunk room down stairs There are three full bathrooms total 2 in the master suites upstairs and a common bathroom downstairs The home has access to the community beach front pool that serves the four beach front homes we have at this location Wall Street Wings of Eagles Summer Wind and Summer of 42 Guests of Harris Properties will receive up to a 200 voucher for activities and attractions in the area We love people of all ages and we want everyone to enjoy our homes However we do require that an adult 25 years or older to reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25 We have no exception to this policy
