Private blue-ribbon fly-fishing exists on the many spring creek waters of the estate as well as on the world renowned Fish Creek. There is a trail-system which winds throughout the 1,300 acre Crescent H Ranch, giving a private opportunity for groomed cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Crescent H is known for some of the finest angling in the world. The ranch is crossed by fish creek, numerous spring creeks, ponds, and the magnificent snake river offering over seven miles of private blue ribbon fly fishing. Fish creek is one of the principle spawning tributaries for the endangered fine-spotted cutthroat trout. This native species of cutthroat trout thrive on the ranch and are nourished by consistent water flows and abundant hatches that ensure great fishing even when the big waters of the area aren’t producing. The private spring creeks were the lure that attracted the Orvis company in the early 80’s and helped spawn the concept that became the successful endorsed lodge program. Although no longer affiliated with Orvis, the fisheries and the superb outfitting services not only remain intact, but are in fact, improved. The entire length of fish creek is private, there is NO public access anywhere along the fish creek, making it truly one of the finest and most exclusive fishing opportunities anywhere.
