I'm so happy we chose the Targhee cabin for our trip to visit Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. The cabin was wonderful and offered a great place to come home to after a long day exploring the parks. The cabin was adequately stocked and the owner was able to get us a fan quickly. The real selling point is the amazing opportunity to watch the sun rise over the Tetons while relaxing on the back porch.

The cabin is located on the quiet side of the Tetons. We had an awesome time ! We enjoyed the quiet cabin, the wonderful night skies, and the restaurants nearby in Driggs. We maximized 10 days to the full extent. Yellowstone NP, Grand Tetons NP. We saw Idaho including Craters of the Moon NP, as well as Montana, including Virginia City, Earthquake Lake, big open skies. Just awesome. We saw all of the "big animals". Passed the Tetons Pass numerous times. Stopped at Stinkers gas station in Victor numerous times as well, lol. The best hike was the one to the top of Table Mountain 11,106 feet, close to Alta, facing Grand Teton up close at the summit. Our 12 year old daughter made it as well. It was tough, but breathtaking does not describe it. It was a life changing event. Unforgettable !! Thank you so much - we wish we were still there !!!

We loved this cabin! Alta is the perfect location to see many beautiful things from Jackson Hole, Wy to Mesa Falls, Idaho! Perfect little cabin! Perfect location!

We loved our stay at the Targhee cabin. The snow was coming down hard so we got some epic skiing. The cabin is very close to Targhee. This is the best location if your coming up for a ski trip. Will be staying again

Ten kilometers of Cross Country trails are out your back door! (literally the maintained trails begin 50 feet from the deck)
The cabin has two bedrooms with 1 queen bed, 1 full/double bed, can sleep up to 4 people, and is child friendly. The bathroom is connected to the downstairs bedroom. Kitchenette is provided.

Targhee Cabin is just a short walk from the Teton Creek and a few miles from world class Fly Fishing on the Teton River!
There is plenty of open lawn to practice your casting in the front and back yard.
In addition, Targhee Cabin is situated at the entrance to Teton Canyon and Targhee National Park. Yellowstone and Teton National Parks are easily visited from the Cabin on day trips (2 hours to Yellowstone and 1 hour to Teton National Park).
Hiking in the Aspens or gorgeous Canyons, Road Biking miles of scenic road, Mountain Biking the canyons and wildlife viewing are a few of the activities that can be enjoyed only minutes from the cabin.
