Our place is close to restaurants and dining, nightlife, public transport, and family-friendly activities. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
This home is truly unique. It is the "newest" old home on the block! Enjoy the privacy and comfort of your own "floor". The beds are memory foam, towels and soaps are provided, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the pans, appliances and cooking/eating tools you will need to your own meals. Or, eat out on the town, since it's close to restaurants and night-life.
The upstairs Unit is a completely separate, rentable Unit, so you will be accessing this Unit from the back of the house. There is a set of well-lit concrete stairs that lead you down to the entrance which is locked with a code that we will provide to you before your arrival. The back and front yards have grass and are available to all renters to use.
We are always available via text, phone or email. We don't live on site, but we can answer any questions you may have. We also have a couple of local contacts and a repairman close-by if there is an urgent issue that arises.
This home is on a cute little street where the people care! Minus the home on the corner, everyone seems to keep their yards up, keep their homes well-taken care of, and the neighbors are out and about during the summertime. :)
Our home has a long driveway with plenty of parking for both units. You could even park your RV for your stay! There is a city bus that stops on Tieton at the end of the street as well, if you are traveling by public transit.
The door to the upstairs Unit is to remain locked unless you have rented both units. The deadbolts lock with a key and the key will not be provided to you unless you have rented both units.
This unit required that we install it's own heating and air conditioning unit, as well as a sewage ejector pump which turns on when the tank is filled up and needs to be emptied. This quiet unit is actually underground in the utility closet and it's a good thing! We didn't want the possibility of sewage back up downstairs, so we took this extra measure to ensure it! You will notice it turning on after a wash-load, several toilet flushes, a dishwasher load or a couple of showers...don't be alarmed! It's quick and it's useful! Definitely better than backed up sewage!
This place is perfect for business trips. Much more comfortable than a hotel!
