House The space The Milky Way is a single family home with 6 bedrooms The front door of the home opens to the kitchen and dining room The kitchen is open and spacious with updated stainless steel appliances but older flooring and countertops The dining area has a large table with 14 seats The table can expand with folding chairs for additional guests This floor features a full bathroom just out of renovations with dual sinks There are 3 bedrooms on this floor The Moon has a king bed as does Venus The third upstairs bedroom Mars offers lots of options as it is furnished with a queen over queen bunk bed and a standalone twin bed Make your way down a beautifully crafted spiral staircase to the lower level of the home Here you will find the cozy read smallish living room with 50 TV cable and DVD and queen sleeper sofa Three more bedrooms and two full bathrooms are also found on this floor Pluto features two queen beds Uranus is furnished with a twin over full size bunk bed and plenty of juvenile wall art referencing the name of everyone s favorite planet Finally the Earth suite has a king bed en suite full bath and walk in closet A second full bathroom is also found on this floor along with a laundry room with side-by-side washer dryer The living room offers direct access to the backyard of the home which is accessed via alley and offers off-street parking for 3-4 cars The front patio of the home has a BBQ and outdoor dining table A few notes to be aware of with The Milky Way The home sits on a two way street with some bus traffic The bedrooms are toward the rear of the home but street noise may bother those who are not city dwellers Guests should also be aware that the living room will not accommodate the maximum capacity of the home but the dining room is sizeable as is the front patio area The kitchen dining area of the home are freshly painted and appliances are new but flooring and cabinets countertops are dated Guest access Access to the home is provided As a result, our homes are generally unsuitable for certain types of groups, such as bachelor/bachelorette parties, prom goers, Fraternity/Sorority formal attendees, 21st birthday party groups, college spring breakers, and others. While we do not strictly prohibit any group based merely on its descriptor, we encourage all renters to consider the purpose of their travel and the nature of their group.
The organizer for each booking will be required to sign a strictly worded Rental Agreement, with language explicitly discussing our expectations concerning noise, smoking, occupancy limits, property damage and cleanliness. The organizer will be required to provide the scan of a photo ID for booking, as well as the full name of each member of the group. These items can be provided to us via the Guest Portal on this website.

Our policy is that all accepted reservations are non-refundable for any reason. Guests shall bear the financial burden of their changing travel plans regardless of reason, including but not limited to death in the family, unforeseen work demands, illness of traveling party member, cancelation of wedding they had planned to attend, foul weather, canceled or delayed flights, family emergency, act of God, etc. All of the above applies to shortened stays in addition to canceled stays.
Note: while the above is our official policy, as a gesture of goodwill, we always endeavor to re-rent a home when a Guest chooses to cancel. (To date, our Guests have enjoyed good results in such circumstances.) In the event we are able to rent the home to another party, we are happy to refund your payment minus a fee (set at our discretion) to compensate for the extra work incurred. Your refund will also be reduced if we rent the home for a lower rate following your cancellation.
