Simply the best
This house is phenomenal, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had six adults and six young kids, and there was ample space for all. The beach was gorgeous and surprisingly uncrowded -- perfect for families. A highlight was seeing dolphins almost every day, VERY close to shore! Other perks of the house included a lovely backyard and a great grill. We all agreed it was one of the best vacations we've ever had. We plan to be back. Thank you Ruby!

Could not be better!!
Such a wonderful place to stay and Ruby is a wonderful person to work with. Place is spotless and in a great location. Nine of us stayed and never once did we feel crowded. My son is in the Air Force stationed at Langley AFB, I grilled up some wings and burgers for a few (9) of his buddies. I tried to make it feel like home for them and the loved it! The beach is literally a two minute walk and there are no busy streets to cross, great for the little kidos. I would HIGHLY recommend this lovely home for your VA Beach stay. Not too close to the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk, but yet you can drive there in five minutes. Garage has plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, you name it it's in there. I had never been to VA before much less the beach, but we'll be back next summer. The guys are expecting to grill some more wings and burgers, can't disappoint them!! I can't say enough about Ruby, I've stayed in many HomeAway homes before, and she is top notch! She is very much on top of things and makes you feel so welcome, I feel like I known her for years though we just met. Don't miss out on this great place, you'll be sorry you did believe me.

Great Family Getaway!
We really enjoyed staying at this rental in the North End of Virginia Beach. Great location with beautiful beaches. Private yet close to the attractions that the resort offers. Extended family with adult children stayed together for the week as we celebrated our daughter's wedding. Plenty of room to get together but also offered privacy when needed. This home is very well equipped with all you need for the beach...many chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers and beach cart. We used the bikes a lot and really enjoyed the rides into First Landing State Park which can be entered at 64th St. just a few blocks away. Free entry when biking! Nice shady ride on the Cape Henry trail with gorgeous views ... Spanish Moss hanging from the trees was beautiful ! Ruby was very nice to deal with. Thank you for a memorable and relaxing vacation. :)

Fantastic place for a family reunion
We have rented quit a few places before but it has to be one of the most well-equipped house - bicycles, beach cart, beach chairs, towels, second refrigerator, anything you need to cook a big meal. Thank you for thinking of everything. This house was perfect for Our surprise birthday party for my sister-in-law with family and friends. Everything was nice and comfortable. The backyard was large and beautiful for a beach house. It is also great that it is 3 houses to the beach. I definitely recommend this place if you have a big family.

Perfect location!!
The house was perfect!! The location couldn't have been better and loved that we didn't have to cross the street with young children to get to the beach!! There were plenty of dishes for everyone without having to wash them after every meal and the house was stocked for baking and cooking for our Easter meal. Quiet area since it was north of the main part of the tourist area and didn't have to worry about a lot of traffic. Appreciated the linen being included and access to bikes, toys, and chairs! Saved on the packing for sure!! Would definitely return!

This place is topnotch !
There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this rental property and Ruby's responsiveness and attention to detail ! It's hard to imagine a more completely stocked house than this one. This was a destination family Thanksgiving visit. The beautiful and comfortable accommodations helped make it very special. The proximity to the beach and the slight distance from the main commercial area were additional pluses.....a super place to rent !

Excellent Property
This beach house was outstanding, to say the least. It was extremely well stocked - we lacked for nothing. The house was wonderfully decorated - loved the "beach" type motif. We also enjoyed early morning walks on the beach and saw dolphins every morning we were there along with little Hermit crabs scurrying about. Great house, great vacation. Loved it.

Excellent home away from home!
Where do I begin? We felt like we were home, every detail was accounted for down to ice bags in the freezer, many beach chairs, beach towels, beach cruiser bikes, and more. We didn't need to bring a thing! The is one of the best homes we have ever rented and we would definitely come back! Ruby is amazing! The neighborhood and beach are beautiful!

Awesome
We can't say enough about this home. In fact, we have already booked it for the 2015 season. It was the perfect home for a group gathering. We had 11 women who came to play in the Veteran's Soccer tournament. The bedding arrangement was perfect and plenty of room to spread out. We were somewhat concerned about the bathroom situation but it never was an issue. The outdoor shower was clean and great to use especially after a day at the beach. Plenty of hot water for all the showers and washing of clothes. All the supplies you need for the beach. Towels,toys, chairs,umbrellas, coolers, and bikes. Ruby thinks of everything. Even a retractable clothes line for wet suits and towels. Nice private yard to sit and gather with friends. Only two minutes from the ocean. Ride your bike to the boardwalk. The house was charming. Each room was so nicely decorated. So much closet space. TV's in almost every room. Board games, books, and movies for your use. So many extras. Like we told Ruby, "this isn't like home, it's better than home." However, the most impressive feature was the personal care you receive from Ruby and her staff. Emails were promptly answered with such helpful info. One day bad storms hit the area and Chris Kelly(Applause employee) dropped by just to make sure everything was working and that we didn't lose power or need anything. He took the time to show us how to get to certain destinations. Very reachable ad helpful. If you are looking for a home that comes with it all, Northend Exposure is the place. One more thing we won our division in the soccer tournament. Go Motor City Classics! Yeah

Wow!...Wow!...Wow!....
I don't think there are enough "Wows" to express our impression of Northend Exposure! My fiancé and I rented this home our entire wedding party and a few guests. The plan was to have a central location for the wedding party to lodge and for our out-of-town guests to visit with family during their stay in Virginia Beach for the wedding. THIS HOME WAS PERFECT!!! For the family get together and pre-wedding cookout, there was plenty of space. The layout was perfect for entertaining and the house was so clean and well stocked! Everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain was there! IT FELT LIKE HOME! Everything from the decor (beautifully decorated; the photos don't tell just how well it looks) to the location (the beach is right there!; close enough to the boardwalk, but not too close; restaurants are a short drive away; yet not in the middle of tourists, walking distance to massages at Edgar Cayce Center) to the layout (the master suite is tucked away on the top level and served as our perfect post-wedding, pre-honeymoon retreat) worked for us. Every guest who visited the house complimented on how comfortable it was. My Dad was so impressed with the pocket doors, that he has installed one in his home! Also, a few members of the wedding party are already making plans to rent the house for a return trip to Virginia Beach! From day one, Ruby was so very helpful! It was such a pleasure to work with her. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and was always willing to do whatever it took to ensure we were comfortable. She even offered contacts and gave referrals to help us during the wedding planning! (THANK YOU RUBY!!! YOU'RE TRULY A GEM!!) Our only wish was to have another indoor bathroom. Although there is an outdoor shower, there wasn't a soul brave enough to use it. :-) In spite of this, we are still looking forward to our next stay at Northend Exposure. Thank you Ruby and Applause Properties for helping to make our stay and wedding week such an unforgettable experience!

The perfect Virginia Beach getaway!!!!
This home had everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental. The towels were plush and white. The bedding immaculate. From bikes for the whole family, to buckets and shovels for making the prefect sand castle; it all was here. Ruby is the best!! Her customer service skills are unmatched. It was a pleasure every time we spoke. If you are looking for a place to stay while in Virginia Beach, look no more. THIS IS IT!!!!!!

Enjoyable family vacation
The house and contents were just as described on the website. We were very pleased. The realty company was very helpful as we were planning the trip. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and we loved being able to walk to the beach. This is the first time some of us have been to Virginia Beach. It is so beautiful and clean. This may be an annual visit for us going forward.

Location is wonderful, just a few minute walk from the beach.
Home is ideally situated on a quiet street. It is also large enough to accommodate all 16 members in my extended family. The place was clean upon our arrival and the beach towels, cart, and large cooler were all helpful. I highly recommend it.

Updated charm-filled Oceanside beach cottage with private fenced back yard and outdoor enclosed H/C shower. Fully furnished 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath with great floor plan that sleeps 16 comfortably. Situated only a few homes from a big, beautiful sandy beach and short 2-mile bike ride to the world famous Virginia Beach Boardwalk! Enjoy cool ocean breezes, sunrise/sunset views, and scrumptious barbecue dinners in this made-for-fun beach cottage!
The first floor features abundant private gathering and entertainment venues for large families. Enter to a warm, inviting family room, continue through the spacious dining room that seats a minimum of 8, and settle into a casual den with gas fireplace, theater chairs and double sleeper sofa. The cozy enclosed sunroom just off the front family room leads to a deck with picnic table, lounge chairs, large gas grill and partially fenced back yard ideal for children and pets.
The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, double oven, refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, and ceramic-top stove includes a breakfast alcove with dining for 4-6. Two high chairs are provided. The cookware and utensils, serving pieces, dinnerware/flatware and glassware are sufficient to serve a minimum of 16 family members. Half bath and laundry room with full-size washer and dryer are also on the first floor.
Four bedrooms and 1 full bath with tub/shower combination are on the second floor. The bedrooms are furnished as follows: Bedroom 1 - King Bed; Bedroom 2 - King Bed; Bedroom 3 - King Bed; Bedroom 4 - 2 Queen Beds; Bedroom 5 - 2 Twin Beds. Walk-in closet in Master Bedroom. All other bedrooms have large closets. Dressers in all bedrooms. Each bedroom, except the smallest with twin beds, has flat-screen TV’s and ceiling fans. One full bath with combination shower/tub is located on this floor.
The third floor features a bright, beautiful and very spacious Master Bedroom with walk-in closet, King Bed and double sleeper sofa. Enjoy sunrise and sunset skies on the bedroom balcony which faces both East and West. The Master Bath has His and Her vanities, a Jacuzzi and tiled shower.
Very generous parking available with space for up to 6 or 7 cars. Garage unavailable to guests. The outdoor shed stores amenities available to our guests including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, cart, 4 bikes and body boards. There are 2 pack n’plays for the little family members. Pets allowed with restrictions.
