Minimum StayWonderful cabin with beautiful views
We had a great time at Heaven's View in Luray. It's an easy 2 hour drive from DC. We got groceries from the local Walmart and had no issues cooking our meals. We did a day trip to Skyline Drive which was lovely. The house was cozy and met our needs. The walls are fairly thin, so it's a good spot for a group that's going to go to bed and wake up around the same time.

Perfect spot for a perfect getaway
Heaven's view is the perfect name for this home. The view of the mountains is second to none. I highly recommend getting up for the sunrise. It's worth it! Our main intention for visiting Luray was to go to the caverns and do a quick R&R. This house is perfectly located for doing the caverns and close enough to Walmart and the Main Street downtown area that you don't feel isolated or like you need to pack the car like you would if you were going camping. When you're at the house, though, you feel like you are so far away from the rest of the world. It is so quiet and peaceful. I never wanted to leave. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook and relax. The front porch alone was all I needed. I sat out there for hours and hours. The video game in the downstairs bedroom offered a nice diversion for my niece and nephew. Many reviews have mentioned the driveway and so I was prepared. Although we were warned, I didn't have the option for a bigger or heavy vehicle so I chanced it. We drive a small hybrid cross over type vehicle and we had trouble getting up the driveway, but after the first go we figured out how to maneuver so we were able to have less trouble the other two times we came up it. Regardless of the driveway, I would highly recommend this house to anyone and would stay again. I would also highly recommend visiting the Luray caverns.

Incredible Getaway
We loved our stay at Heaven's View! it was just perfect to sit on the decks and enjoy the truly "Heavenly" view of the valley in the mornings and evenings. The accommodations were great and the owner could not have been more helpful. My family are already talking about coming back in the fall!

One of the best getaway spots I've ever been to!
Loved this cabin! It has all of the amenities you need for an extended stay; beautiful views; and very rustic inside! I stayed for a week and didn't want to leave, it was just so peaceful and cozy. Hope to go back again in the future!

My cabin has a rustic theme with a master open loft bedroom with private bath and it's own balcony. A second bedroom offers room for 4 with an adjoining bath. The modern kitchen is available for your own home cooking , if going out to eat it is minutes away to Luray for a variety of dining experiences. This is the perfect cabin for a relaxing stay or venturing out to explore the area. The Shenandoah River can be seen from the cabin and is minutes away for a lazy river float. Luray offers a full days activities with the many antique shops , Flea markets, hiking and biking trails. Luray caverns is an adventure for all ages with the tour, mazes, museum and shops. For you Golf fans there is an 18 hole course nearby to practice that swing. Massanutten Resort with its four season activities is under a hour away and offers summer waterparks, winter ski and snowboarding with ski tubing for the entire family.
