Three bedrooms with large common areas, can accommodate up to 12 on beds and couches, more so if on air mattresses. Feels like you are in the middle of paradise, quiet and secluded, yet close to everything you'd ever want to do, see, or eat. Great for family gatherings, corporate retreats, Swiss Days housing, wedding parties, reunions, or ski parties. Long term renting welcome. This is our third home, and our place to run when we want to get away from it all. The surroundings are stunning, deer feed outside the window, surrounded by mountain views, and close to every kind of recreational activity, regardless of the time of year.
The spacious Master bedroom links up to a large office space lounge, and a luxurious master bathroom with a walk in closet available to the guests. The pride of the living room is the majestic ceiling to floor wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, sitting/game room, and extra eating area. A large loft with full-bed bunks provides a closet and dresser for a comfortable sleep. Another private bedroom with views of the mountains and horses next door, sleeps two comfortably. The huge bonus room has two roll away beds, a sectional couch, and lots of room for watching television, or playing games. It opens out onto the balcony in the front with a porch swing.
During the summer we watch as the golfers go by, but even better is the winter when Homestead Resort provides "one horse open sleigh" rides around the course to families and romantics from around the globe. The charming wrap-around porch area provides more room for your family barbeque, complete with picnic table, or sitting in the shade to read a good book. Two Fairy Gardens greet you in the entryway (during summer only), as you pass over the stone path under the Aspen branches of the cabin's entry. Word's cannot describe the quiet serenity of this place. You will want to pinch yourself to make sure you have not died on gone to heaven.
