Gorgeous, Secluded, and HUGE!

Stayed here with my family for a long weekend (Thurs through Mon). The place is absolutely gorgeous. The house is well stocked with just about everything you could need and is bigger than I imagined. I traveled with my wife, two small children and both of their grandmothers; my sister and her family; and a friend with her three daughters. We were all easily able to fit and each found our own private space, with each family taking a floor. The open kitchen/dining area made it easy to have multiple people working to prepare multiple large meals. The location was fun! Secluded up a dark dirt canyon road, it was a bit of an adventure, which added to the excitement and overall feel of the house and vacation as a whole. We got a good amount of snow the weekend we visited, and the dirt road turned into slippery muddy slush, but I never felt in danger and my 2 wheel drive compact SUV handled the road without a problem. My friend's family was driving a 2 wheel drive sedan which also handled the road just fine. We only had one issue during our visit. Likely due to the storm, the electric hot water heater went out one night. I called Mercy and she was quick to act. Luckily we just had to hit the reset button on the front of the water heater and it was fixed. But in speaking with Mercy, I knew I was in good hands and she would've taken good care of us if it had been a larger issue.

would highly recommend it.

My family stayed at this cabin for a week in the fall and it was wonderful!! The downstairs bedrooms were comfortable and we appreciated the extra bunk beds. The downstairs family room made a good place for the older kids to gather or play games. The kitchen was large and very well appointed including a crockpot and plenty of large bowls and pans. The open floor plan was very functional even for a large group. We loved the main floor bathroom with the deep jetted tub and the large front room windows with a beautiful view of the mountains. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Comfortable and spacious

With 5 families with lots of little kids our group vacations can be cramped and lose the relaxation element. This home had so much space for everyone to sleep comfortably, feel like that had a place to escape the noise to, and move around without constantly bumping into one another. Plus it had two fridges/freezers which made packing. And storing our thanksgiving dinner and food for that many people for the week easy. I was impressed with its cleanliness and how well it was stocked with extra blankets, tables, chairs, and entertainment items. My family and I slept in the basement. We worried about it being cold there, but it wasn't at. We were very comfortable and it had plenty of natural light down there. It's also a beautiful location. We loved sitting out at the fire pit and taking the 4 wheelers for a spin. It's also in driving distance to some amazing destinations. We loved it.

National Parks!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. We loved the layout of the home with the large living/dining/kitchen area. There is not a TV in the great room, so it leads to everyone interacting with each other, which we loved. The large screen TVs are upstairs and downstairs. The home is well stocked with dishes and essential cookware. Perfect location for day trips to the surrounding national parks and other areas of interest in southern Utah.
