We really enjoyed the house. It was very comfortable and spacious and our dog enjoyed it very much while we were hiking in Zion. It was also a really nice place to ride out the rain. We grilled some great steaks for dinner and played with our dog in the yard. Definitely worth it.

Family vacation
The house is located just under half an hour from the entrance to Bryce Canyon. It's even closer to Willis Creek (really fun walk in shallow water through a slot canyon -- especially good with children). We brought our large telescope and had incredible views of the night sky here!

Great host, great house.
Cannot say enough good things about our 6 day stay. Let me start with our host Tom. He was easy to reach by phone and/or text. He responded immediately to any questions we had. He had suggestions for us and seemed genuinely interested in our enjoying his home and Utah. The house has everything you need. 2 grills, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, comfy couches, great deck, kitchen utensils, even has condiments and food left from previous guests, shower pressure great, bedding, pool table, board games, cable tv, fenced yard for dogs. Very quiet location. Cell service was not good but Tom has a house phone with free long distance. Also free WiFi. We were a total of 7 adults and place easily accommodated us. Cannonville is tiny and very quiet. Bryce is 20 minutes away. Kodachrome State Park (should not be missed) is 15 minutes. Town of Tropic is 5 minutes. Tropic has restaurants and a small food market. Escalante, UT about 40 minutes away. (Don't miss slot canyons Spooky and Peek a Boo). All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time st the house. Loved coming home to the house after long days hiking. We would return in a heartbeat. Tom was great.

Very Comfortable House
My daughter and I stayed here for three nights on a 10 day southern Utah day hiking trip. Tom's Cannonville house is great. He clearly cares about making his house comfortable and enjoyable for his guests. The house has everything (way more than most) and Tom's attention to detail makes for a very comfortable and pleasurable stay. It is roomy and very clean. The location is great if you do not want to be in the midst of the Bryce crowds but want easy access to the Park. Plus you have great access to Escalante/Grand Staircase and other outdoor spots as well. Tom was responsive from the first contact until our stay was over and had great suggestions for hiking and restaurants. No question that I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Located in serine Bryce Valley. Only 15 miles from Bryce Canyon. Beautiful 3,000 sq.ft. home surrounded by Redrock views. Get away from all tourist traffic of Bryce Canyon. Peaceful setting in the farmlands. located next to the Paria River at elevation 5800. Very Private, 3 acres is fenced and gated. Home is center to the gateway of The Grand Staircase Escalate National Monument. Hiking, 4 wheeling Trails in all directions. 100's of family's have loved there stay here. House is equipped with the following, Telescope, Hiking Maps, Trail Guides, Huge home, 3 levels, Loft has a Futon/full size bed, Main level, master bedroom has a king size, private bath, comfy coach, and living room, lots of carpeted floor space for 2 inflatable mattresses, Downstairs/Bar Room rustic big bar and pool table. has a pull out sofa. Downstairs bedroom is extra arge, has a queen size and a full size bed, can sleep 4
