If you are looking for seclusion, views, and a convenient location, Lazy Bear is the cabin for you!! The cabin has been newly updated and even has a brand new large hot tub that sits on a totally private covered deck with mountain views, a relaxing swing and no one in sight!! You will enjoy the woodland creatures decor throughout the cabin, bears, raccoons, wolves, moose, owls and more!! We even decorate for Christmas! We will put up a charming Christmas tree filled with woodsy creatures, pine cones and more. It's great!
As you drive to the cabin, you will see the breath-taking views of the rolling Little Pigeon River! This beautifully decorated cabin is located between Gatlinburg (10 - 12 minutes) Pigeon Forge (15 minutes) and only 7 minutes to the grocery store, restaurants, the popular Arts and Crafts Center and awesome scenic trails.
The roads and driveway are all paved with easy access and a paved driveway with parking for up to four vehicles. This is a biker friendly area!!
As you approach the cabin, you will see that Lazy Bear is tucked down away from the sight of the few cabins that are on the road and is on and acre and a half of wooded beauty.
When you walk in the front door, you will see the regulation size pool table and to the left is the half bath and laundry area.
Then, you will walk into the kitchen area with all appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, plenty of dishes and utensils. We have provided a great kitchen island / table and two stools for extra seating. Plus, there is a dining table with four more chairs. You will see beautiful views from the awesome large window and you will love the cathedral ceilings! This cabin is very open an airy and filled with sunlight!
Then you can stroll out to the deck, which is our favorite place to hang out at the cabin. Enjoy a soak in the new large hot tub, or relax on the swing, and remember, the deck is covered so you cannot see anyone. We even decorated the deck! It is adorable. We recently added a picnic table for outside dining.
As you return inside the cabin, you will see the loft area and the beautiful hand carved wood bears, raccoons, owls and deer. The living room is to the right.
Then, you can go on up to tree house-like the master suite. It is truly romantic with peaceful views throughout the room and of course, you can soak your cares away in the heart shaped Jacuzzi tub. The King size log bed is roomy and very comfortable. There is a full bath upstairs with a full size bathtub/shower.
As you go back downstairs, you will find a queen size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping for two people. We also provided a queen air mattress with a pump and sheets for more sleeping space. Additional blankets are provided.
We have provided a charcoal grill for your enjoyment.
There is also a half bath with full sized washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.
There are two new flat screen TV's, one in the bedroom and one above the gas fireplace. Direct TV, DVD player in the living room and the loft bedroom with a great selection of DVDs to watch. We will continue to make improvements to Lazy Bear. We recommend that you add a hot spot to your cell phone if you want internet.
There are so many fun things to do in the area! There are attractions galore here. We always leave coupons for our guests to use while they are there. There are some wonderful restaurant choices. I don't know why, but the food is so much better there than at home. The shopping is great too and there are so many tourist attractions and theme parks, horseback riding, skiing, hiking, kayaking, golf and again the beauty of the area. I could go on and on telling you why you should stay at Lazy Bear Cabin but they only allow me so many words! :)

About The Area
We recommend this cabin to anyone who just wants to get away from it all and take in the beauty of the mountains and forests! The location is beautiful and convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! This area is great for motorcycle enthusiasts! If you are looking for privacy, Lazy Bear is perfect for you! You will be assured that the cabin will be clean for your stay and you will have all the comforts of home, plus an great view, a new hot tub and so many fun things to do in the area! we just added a brand new large picnic table.There are attractions galore here. Suitability
We chose this property because of it's great privacy, the view and the potential it has to be a great rental for anyone visiting the Smoky Mountains! It is all wood construction and has a covered deck for you to soak in the brand new large hot tub or relax on the swing. The roads to the cabin are all paved as is the driveway / parking area. We also chose it for it's convenience to everything! Grocery store, restaurants, shopping and the many tourist attractions are all very close to the cabin. If you like the wildlife of the Smoky Mountains, you will really enjoy the decor of the cabin. There are many bears, raccoons, wolves, moose and owls throughout the cabin to bring the outdoors inside the cabin. We have done our best to provide all the comforts of home for our visitors. There is an incredibly comfortable king size log bed. We enjoy waking up there to the view out the large window of the sun rising over the mountains and woods! It is a heavenly peaceful place to be. The shower is a full sized bathtub with a hand held shower. There is also a romantic heart shaped jacuzzi in the bedroom which is surrounded by windows. No need for blinds as there is no one around! There is a bear themed queen sized sleeper sofa in addition and a comfy recliner. Plus a nice dining table with four chairs, and even a hand-made kitchen island / table with two stools. There are two bathrooms, one full upstairs and the one on the entry level is a half bath with a laundry room too. The washer and dry are full size and work great! We also provide an iron and ironing board. I truly feel that the most unique thing about this cabin is the amount of privacy it offers. Privacy has become hard to find in the Smoky Mountains, as it has been built up with cabins piled right on top of one another. Not Lazy Bear!! We leave all of the blinds open at all times so we can enjoy the beautiful views out of each window! The cabin is well decorated and is always clean for your convenience and comfort.
