The cabin was in a great location. 15 minutes to all the fun. The road to the home was paved and not hard to drive on. If there was bad weather I would say a 4x4 would be needed. As for privacy, you are in a neighborhood among many other houses, however that should not be a surprise to anyone if you look at the pictures. That was fine for us. The cabin is decorated very well and accommodated six adults and five children just fine. Every inch of the home was used and enjoyed. The pool was a big hit for the children and I loved that it had a lock on the door so no little ones could get in by accident. The game room was also a big hit. Overall we all had a terrific time at Kings Mountain Lodge and would recommend and return. The owners provide excellent customer service and if you have any questions they get back with you very quickly. We have been coming to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area for over twenty years and this home is one of our favorites. It was nice to return with our children and grand children. Nice place to unwind and enjoy family time together.

Great get away
The cabin is excellent. Well kept, lovely pool, great theatre room. The beds and furniture are comfortable. And the location is perfect for experiencing Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the surrounding parks and attractions. Managing company was very, very easy to work with and quite helpful.

Picture Perfect
This cabin lives up to the listing. Views are just wonderful. Time on the deck is the best way to begin and end the day on your vacation. Our kids got a lot of use out of the pool. Short drives to Dollywood, horseback riding, Dixie Stampede and zip lining. Furnishings were great. Neighbors were a little rowdy our last night (Friday of Spring Break), but it was otherwise peaceful. Steep drive to get to the cabin, but the views are worth it.

Great Place
Fantastic vacation home, with a wonderful view and lots of amenities. Several balconies/porches to enjoy the view. Open kitchen/living room. Beds are comfortable. Bunk beds are double or queen, which is great, not only for kids but also for adults. Game room is great with a pool table (cues, chalk, etc included) and a video table with pacman and galaga. Movie room is wonderful. Pool is nice to have. Be careful of the slippery deck. People should not run, as it is extremely dangerous when wet. Hot tub is just outside the double doors from the pool area. Hot tub comfortably fits 4 adults. Overall, I highly recommend this place. You don't even need to go to the attractions in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, as there is plenty to do staying in. However, it is a close drive to both areas. Did not see any fire damage at all in the area surrounding the cabin.
