Creek 17 miles east of Gatlinburg in Cosby, Tn. Affordable pricing, Fishing on site (No Lic. Required), Organic Flower/Veggie Garden with a private road that circles the property perfect for walks through the woods around the garden or down by the creek! Mature Woods & Native Wildflowers. The space; Wooded Acreage Bordering the Park with view of Large Mt. Creek (Greenbrier) . There are sliding glass doors in living room and bedroom and you can see the creek and waterfall from bed! Cabin is fully furnished with TV/DVD, washer/dryer,fireplace, porch with swing, rockers, back yard space with pic-nik table, hammock, fire-pit & BBQ grill! Cosby is a rural community that borders the park that is close to Gatlinburg (20 min.) 2 miles to Foothills Prky exit 443 that connects to I-40. Pigeon Forge or Sevierville 40min. Hot Springs, Maggie Vally, Cherokee and Waynesville 45 min. 1hr. 10 min. to Ashville N.C. Other things to note; Many travelers use this way (exit 443 Foothills Prkwy), into Gatlinburg as the back door coming in. The front door coming in exit 407 Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg is 32 miles of traffic, red lights, crowds & commercial offerings to take your $. Sometimes (Holidays & weekends in season) will take up to 2 1/2 - 3 hrs to get into Gatlinburg. We have the Cosby Campground/Trailhead Entrance into the park just 2 miles and the Big Creek and Greenbrier Entrances just 20 min. away. There are 8 restaurants, 2 dollar General stores and 2 grocery (one being a Wall Mart) stores within 20 min.
Smoking is not allowed in cabins, Ash trays are provided. Do not discard any butts or trash on ground. No glass containers on creek. Small children must be under adult supervison at all times. Do not cut flowers, dig or pick mushrooms. Can burn down limbs (have woodshed with wood) No cutting trees or removing rocks. For those who travel with pets, must be on a leash and clean up after them. This is wooded property bordering the park & wildlife encounters can happen so please view any at a safe distance. Keep all fires within fire-pits that are on property
