Our family vacation
Our family has been here almost 1 week and it's been the best vacation we could've ever imagined. It all started with our amazing cabin and the hospitality. Everyone is so amazing here and our cabin is so clean. It turned out to more than we hoped for. Thank you Monty and staff for welcoming our family to Rapid city.

Fantastic!!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Park Campground and Cottages. This was our first time vacationing in SD and we could not have selected a better place to stay. Our cottage was just the right size for our family of 4, however we spent the majority of our time outside. The beds were comfortable and the area was quite. We enjoyed the BBQ grill and the kitchen. Also enjoyed the area for the kids to play and run around and the community feel. The staff were very friendly, although we did not need them during our stay. The cabin and surrounding area was very clean and the grounds wereally well maintained. We were very sad to leave. We would recommend Lake Park Campgrounds and Cabins to everyone vacationIngram to South Dakota.

Glad we choose this family friendly resort! The staff starts this great experience off right by showing you shortcuts out of town and treating you like family! The cottage we stayed In was a 2 bedroom with fold out sleeper in living room. Plenty of room for our 3 adults and 3 children (ages 8,2,& 10 months). Our pack n play fit perfect next to the bed in our room! The kitchen has all the basics including full size fridge, oven, and microwave. The location is amazing on the western edge of town and surprisingly quiet. We highly recommend and will be back!

Two bedroom cottage located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City. Perfectly located for access to all the area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less. The cottage has a full kitchen, bathroom and shower, cable TV, air conditioning, and comes with a gas grill and picnic table outdoors. All linens, bedding, and towels are provided. The kitchen is furnished for basic cooking and eating. Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.
Amenities: Kitchen has full size refrigerator and range/oven. Equipped with toaster and coffee maker. Microwave available upon request. Kitchen is equipped with six place settings and basic cooking utensils. Laundromat on site. Internet access, fax, and phone available at the office. Cable TV. Paddle boat rentals on the lake. Playground. Gas grill and picnic table outdoors.
