We have rented a beach house in Ocean Lakes for the last 9 years now. We have rented a different house every year - some better than others. Ocean Lakes is always our favorite vacation location, because of all the activities on the property and right outside the property. This house was very clean and spacious. The first week we had a total of 14 people at the house, and still had room for a few more. The second week we only had 4, so we didn't use the upstairs. The kitchen, dining and living room area was large enough to accomodate our crowd. The patio furniture on the desk was nice quality and there was enough of it for our whole family to dine together on the deck. What make this property so much different than a few of the other nice homes we have rented, is that the owners were so friendly and helpful. They made every detail of our trip a pleasant experience. We will certainly be staying in the property each summer that it is available for us to rent.

Beautiful 2-story beach house with 5-car covered parking in the award winning Ocean Lakes Resort in Myrtle Beach. Gated family oriented community with 24 hour patrolling security-10 MPH speed limit enforced allowing safety for children on bikes and scooters. Street front location for easy access. Outside hot and cold shower. Decks on both levels of house in addition to deck on ground level. Close proximity to 1 mile of oceanfront, snackbar, grocery store, new water park with lazy river and swimming pools, miniature golf course--all within 3-minute golf cart ride of house.
Tile floors in kitchen, dining, den, and baths; carpet in bedrooms. Upper and lower covered decks. Satellite TV plus basic cable on 6 TVs including flat panel Samsung LCD in den. Wi-Fi throughout the house. Bedrooms: 1st floor - MBR with king bed, pull-out couch with queen size bed; 2nd floor - 2 BRs with queen beds, 1 BR with full bed, 1 BR with 2 bunks that have full on bottom and single on top of both bunks. Golf cart supplied with weekly rental.
Beach, country store, snack bar with Wi-Fi, rec center, arcade, Olympic-sized swimming pool, kiddie pools/water park, indoor pool, miniature golf, 8 fishing lakes; all these activities are within 5 to 10 minutes walking...or rent additional golf cart/bicycle if you wish.
Nearby activities:: Live theatre shows (Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre, Dixie Stampede, Legends) , IMAX theatre, Broadway at the Beach, 100+ golf courses, shopping centers, restaurants, movies. Discount coupons available for many of these. Airport approximately 10 miles away.
