The living area has a spacious gourmet kitchen stocked with all the equipment you’ll need. We even include a large array of spices, unlike most rentals, because who wants to run back to the store just for oregano? There is a huge island-bar area with 8 bar stools, with a completely open floor plan so everyone is included in the fun! A formal dining table comfortably seats 8, with TV trays for casual or kids, and 4-person outdoor dining table right off the main dining area. Plus 8 more ourdoor dining seats downstairs.
More of a sports or movie fan? We have you covered with a brand new 70 inch 4K LG television, Dish Satellite TV, Netflix, and even a DVD/CD player. Polk audio surround sound system with subwoofer and voice boost technology. Powerful wi-fi throughout the house makes multi-streaming to other TVs in bedrooms (streaming services included) and devices a breeze!
Out back you'll find a small but warm swimming pool with a tall privacy fence so you can sunbathe and splash in peace. The under-house area has a comfortable L-shaped couch, café lights that are automatically on and off each day, a new gas barbecue grill, a fully-enclosed private shower for rinising off before the pool, and a full-sized side-by-side refrigerator so that you can keep hanging out with family and friends while grabbing a drink or putting the steaks on the grill. If you want to go out, some of the best seafood restaurants in SC are nearby, and the exciting nightlife of the Marshwalk with dozens of restaurants, bars, and live music venues, is a 6-minute drive.
We provide coolers and 8 beach chairs in the under-house storage room. Pool floats and some games/toys are also provided!

We are close to some of the best golf courses in the southeast, so play a round or two or head to the driving range less than a mile from Helios! Stop for drinks at the Marsh Walk after, or visit one of our famous ice cream shops for a real treat!
Our AMPLE PARKING IS NON-RESTRICTED. You're welcome to bring a large trailered boat or jet skiis to make use of our public access ramps to ocean, inlet, or Intercoastal waterway - great fishing and recreation. We have easy parking for 11 cars; or numerous cars plus a boat or jet skis. No regulations on parking other than to not park on the grass due to the irrigation system.
For outdoor fun, take a dip in your own private pool, enjoy a game of beach ball, go listen to the live music at Garden City pier, take a walk down the block to Painter’s Ice Cream shop, or grill some steaks and enjoy outdoor dining in the private pool area and the festively-lit under house area.
There are boat rentals available locally, as well as golf cart rentals within quick walking distance. Pontoons and jet ski rentals are also available as well as parasailing, zip lining, and banana boat rides for the young or young at heart. Murrell’s Inlet has a dolphin watch cruise, a nightly sunset cruise, lots of chartered fishing boats and sport fishing tournaments, and a Pirate Cruise for the kids. A short ride south takes you to Winyah Bay and Georgetown with public boat docks along the restaurants and entertainment spots of the Historic Waterfront. Or to Pawley's Island for great dining and more beaches and golf!

About The Area
The best part of Helios is being near the ocean at Garden City Beach with something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it is baking in the sun, body-surfing and swimming in the ocean, building sand castles, surfing, fishing, para-sailing, golfing, shopping, reading a juicy novel, renting jet skis, arcades, miniature golf, riding the Pie Eyed Parrot sunset cruise, scuba diving, live music, restaurants and local seafood, driving at the mini-Nascar track, collecting sea shells, riding the dolphin-watch boat, or the nightly fireworks, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet have something for everyone! Fireworks are allowed on the beach until 11 pm and we have some fireworks stores within walking distance of Helios; summers have official fireworks and you’re sure to see some revelers out there every night adding their own. You can keep enjoying our spacious entertaining area under the house well after dark! We have automatic on-and-off café lights under the house (bright enough to grill but not too bright), and under-house dining area and sofa, pool-side dining, a large gas grill, and lounge chairs.
Helios is close to everything the Grand Strand has to offer and is perfect for those looking for a quiet family neighborhood with less traffic. You won’t hear the wild parties of the first row, the 4 AM garbage truck, constant traffic, and linen deliveries of the big hotels. Located between Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, Helios it a short drive to attractions at either of these popular tourist locations. For history lovers, and/or veterans, it is around 1.5 hours to the gem of the south: Charleston. Visit Patriot’s Point and tour the USS Yorktown, checking out her impressive number of ships downed during WWII! Many say the ship is haunted, and Charleston has several ghost tours, as well! Charleston is rich in history, architecture, fine restaurants, plantations, shopping, and unique Southern charm; it is a comfortable one day outing from Garden City. Brookgreen Gardens, just 10 minutes south, is th largest sculpture exhibit in the US and includes a zoo, butterfly house, train, frequent live music and other entrtainment. Our two Tanger outlet malls (17N at 22; and 501) are perfect for finding some great deals: not to be missed outlets include the North Face, Coach, Under Armor, Vera Bradley, and others, as well as many sunglasses shops. Barefoot Landing is a fun walking destination of outdoor shops and restaurants; they have tigers on display as well as some unusual stores for fudge, kites, and magic. Alligator Adventure next door includes a thrilling dinner “show” and a lot of interesting animals, and Alabama Theater and House of Blues offer great night-time entertainment indoors and out. Don’t miss Ripley’s Aquarium at Broadway, it includes a conveyor-belt ride under the sea with hundreds of animals (the saw fish and the sea dragons are a must see)!

NO SMOKING ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY!
Primary renter must be 21 years of age or older. A $350 security deposit will be refunded to you after a walk through inspection. Any damages exceeding the security deposit should be paid to owner and subsequently claimed on your own insurance. Smoking will forfeit the security deposit.
Please rinse in the outdoor shower before entering the pool! No glass in pool area. No shoes inside the house to limit sand. Please leave shoes under house or in entry stairwell.
WITHIN 24 HOURS OF BOOKING: Email us the names and ages of all guests. You must verify the total number of guests in the party, and the number of bedrooms that will be used, so that we can plan linen service.
Additional guests should not be added after booking and doing so would result in a loss of security deposit and potential extra cleaning/linen fees. Guests present will be verified by the security system and overnight guests are considered to be anyone present at 11 pm. Additional guests beyond the planned booking will incur a $50 per person per night charge.
We ask that guests do not use the Amazon Alexa to "subscribe" to extra music services or to place orders, but only use the free music service already provided for your enjoyment. Please ask if you have questions about Alexa. If an Alexa order is placed the loss of security deposit will result.
Cats must be booked as guests at the property but all house-trained felines are welcome! (Sorry we don't take dogs due to allergies). Please list your cat as a "cat guest" along with all of the other guests upon booking.
All garbage generated must be in bags (no loose trash) and MUST FIT INSIDE the 96 gallon rolling trash can provided. No trash should be left outside the trash cart because our garbage service absolutely will not remove it. Extra trash left on the property will forfeit the entire security deposit. You should dispose of additional trash on your own if it overflows the 96 gallon rolling can. Extra trash bags can be dropped off close by at the Horry County landfill at 9610 Scipio Lane, just off Holmestown Rd. (Glenn's Bay Rd). Phone 843-347-1651. Up to 4 cubic yards of waste per day can be dropped off here for free, so please plan ahead!
Guests staying on a Sunday should roll the trash cart to the curb on right of driveway before dark and bring it back in on Monday.
No house parties, smoking, vaping, hookas, illegal drug use, use of internet for illegal activities, excessive noise levels, or unplanned guests permitted.
A pool cleaning crew will be present on the property 3 times a week and should be allowed to perform their quick service.
Check out time is 10:30 am due to enhanced Covid-19 cleaning procedures. Thanks for understanding!

Cats must be house trained and able to use the litter box without accidents. No scratching of furniture is allowed – cats must be registered guests and we will then provide a small scratching post and kitty bowls. Disposable litter boxes are also available on request (3 for $15 or more boxes by special request). Free treats for feline guests!
What to pack: Your beach towels, sun screen, any extra bath towels or wash cloths you may need, and your swimsuit.

You should dispose of additional trash on your own if it overflows the 96 gallon rolling can. Extra trash bags can be dropped off close by at the Horry County landfill at 9610 Scipio Lane, just off Holmestown Rd. (Glenn's Bay Rd). Phone 843-347-1651. Up to 4 cubic yards of waste per day can be dropped off here for free, so please plan ahead!
Guests staying on a Sunday should roll the trash cart to the curb on right of driveway before dark and bring it back in on Monday.
No house parties, smoking, vaping, hookas, illegal drug use, use of internet for illegal activities, excessive noise levels, or unplanned guests permitted.
A pool cleaning crew will be present on the property 3 times a week and should be allowed to perform their quick service.

CAT POLICY (Sorry no dogs due to allergies; no exceptions
Cats must be house trained and able to use the litter box without accidents. No scratching of furniture is allowed – cats must be registered guests and we will then provide a small scratching post and kitty bowls. Disposable litter boxes are also available on request (3 for $15 or more boxes by special request). Free treats for feline guests!
What to pack: Your beach towels, sun screen, any extra bath towels or wash cloths you may need, and your swimsuit.
LAST MINUTE STAYS are often possible and are quite welcome!
