Lots of room, awesome location
We stayed for a week during the DNC. The week was brutally hot and humid, but the two AC units and the fans kept the entire apartment cool and dry. The location was excellent for us, in a very historic area midway between the Independence Hall/City Hall/Market Street areas to the north, and the Wells Fargo Center to the south. There are two bus stops right on the corner, but we walked most places to the north (10-15 minutes to Market Street), and walked to the Broad street subway line to go south. Bridgette is a wonderful host; very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There is a full ACME grocery store about four blocks away and lots of restaurants, bars, and stores two blocks away. There is a wonderful city market on Saturday mornings at the Head House one block away. St. Peter's Church across the street was built in 1761 and has an unusual wine glass pulpit. The apartment was very clean, including lines and towels. There is a full stove and refrigerator. The bedroom is in the basement, which helps with the city noise (along with the fans) and has a double bed and a twin. The twin is more comfortable, and I don't sleep well, so I slept on that. There is a full washer and dryer. The only thing we were missing was wi-fi, but there is a 24hr diner two blocks away and thier wi-fi worked decently enough late at night for uploading photos and videos. We'd definitely stay there again.
