There is a lot to like about this property. It's set back from the road with complete privacy. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch on the porch swing in the morning in our jammies with a cup of tea. The decor of the home was very comfortable and the owner has paid attention to detail throughout - for example, the childproof gates at the top of stairs are heavy wood built to match the log home design. It was convenient to many hiking locations and an easy drive to Fallingwater (a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home). The small town of Champion has a very good General Store that has terrific homemade pies - we tried a different one every other day. Internet WiFi was very good and reliable. We found the owner friendly and helpful. It was a cool summer getaway from the heat of the city and one of the best family vacations we have had.

Well appointed yet comfy
Combines the best features of modern amenities and rural privacy. Spacious, very clean, remote yet easy to access major roads. Includes features seldom found in vacation homes...a keyboard, air hockey table, numerous TVs, jacuzzi, large covered porch AND a large open deck, fenced in outdoor area for pets, and washer and dryer. A pleasure to do as much or as little activity as desired. The owner is great to work with, too.

Great Location!
Great Location! My family enjoyed the long weekend and found lots of things to do including the zip-line at Seven Springs. (It was awesome) The home was clean and beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possible need. Owner was very helpful with directions and other information. We wouldn't hesitate to use this property again.

Always a great time
We love this property and ESPECIALLY THE OWNER....she is very accomodating ...... the house is very clean and well appointed.... The grounds are great....huge deck...big covered porch, fire pit and lots of outdoor games...(We had a mini family reuinion here and had our own family olympics)...We have always been here in the summer..love it... There is so much to do nearby and the scenery is just gorgeous. close to ohiopyle (youghiogheny river) for kayaking, rafting and biking. Go to Out of the Fire Cafe for Incredible gourmet food... better yet it's a bring your own..... also check out frank Lloyd Wrights Fallingwater....its amazing.
