Minimum StayPerfect Spot on Oregon Coast
We had a weekend friends reunion with guests coming from multiple places. It was a perfect spot for our long weekend. There was a heat wave with temps in Portland over 100 degrees F. The temperatures were comfortable. There was plenty of space to hang out together and also have some alone time. Ocean views are good and beach accesss was across the (quiet) street. We didn't use the loft but the other sleeping rooms were good for all. We would definitely return for another visit.

The perfect beginning to our summer vacation!
This house had everything we needed and more! Lots of space, well stocked kitchen for cooking our meals, comfortable bed and furniture. We enjoyed the location in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the ocean. Nye beach shops and restaurants within a short walk. We were happy that our dog was welcome too! Lauri was a pleasure to do business with, very quick to reply and easy to work with when setting up the reservation. We would love to go back!

Your adventure begins the moment you step in the door of Yaquina Surf Camp, a uniquely wonderful oceanfront home located in historic Nye Beach, Newport.
This three bedroom plus den, two bath home features amazing whitewater and Yaquina lighthouse views from its oceanfront location. You can look for whales spouting or fishing boats offshore while relaxing at the front yard bar.
The home has been recently renovated and is new to the vacation rental market. It is decorated in a wonderfully unique western/camp/surf style that will appeal to kids of any age.
The home is full of amenities. Cozy up to the stone fireplace, take a relaxing sauna or soak in the hot tub. Climb to the rooftop deck to watch for whales and fishing boats. Little campers have their very own getaway in the kids play loft.
All three bedrooms feature new premium mattresses and high-quality linens. Each bedroom is unique with barn doors, hardwood floors, handcrafted lights and carefully chosen furnishings for your comfort. The master bedroom offers a TV and fireplace, while a second bedroom connects to the den and can be used as a second master suite. The den offers a flat-screen wall-mounted fireplace, elegant furnishings and a convertible leather sofa to accommodate extra guests.
Hit the beach trail directly across the street from the house, and find yourself exploring miles of sandy beach. Hang a left and walk to the shops, restaurants and galleries of Nye Beach, a hip and historic and beach community. Take a right and hunt for agates and sea shells at the cliffs below the Yaquina Head Lighthouse.
Rainy day? No problem. The aquariums, restaurants, museums, performing arts venues and shops of Newport are all less than five minutes away. Inside the home, you can enjoy a romantic fire, soak in the brand new spa, take a sauna or watch a movie on the new HD flatscreen TV's. There are also many books, DVD's, puzzles and games for the family to enjoy. Little campers will especially enjoy the cozy kids loft furnished with beanbag chairs, books and their own TV.
The home features four fireplaces (one gas, three electric), a fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, expansive decks with a built-in bar, a rooftop deck/whale watching platform, and an outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off both people and pets after a fun day at the beach.
The dining area seats six, with additional bar seating for two, all with that incredible ocean view.
