Secluded creekside cabin
What a find! Cozy cabin decorated with indigenous fabrics and art from around the world. Peaceful, quiet, private getaway conveniently located close to McKinzie Bridge. Did I mention the outdoor bath house with sauna, two toilet stalls, and two private showers enclosed on three sides with fourth side open to the creek? Oh, and the outdoor kitchen, fire ring, outdoor covered eating area, and secluded oriental pagoda? And the yurt? My favorite moments were sitting in the glider on the screened-in creekside porch sipping my morning coffee. Doesn't get any better than that. Lots of options here, and comfortable for a couple (we were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary) or for a dozen.close friends. Don't go here if you are tied to you cell phone though. Cell coverage isn't available except through wifi. And there's a phone in the cottage if someone really needs to find you. Drive the 10 minutes to McKinzie Bridge and you can have your daily cell fix. Or stay here to really unplug and recharge.

Our Happy Place!
This was our Third visit to the Cabin and once again Loved It! It looks to be more used than we found it before and this means that other people are discovering this treasured place to unplug, unwind, relax and breathe for a few days or weeks! Steve has made this place such a wonderful retreat- we can't express in words the feeling we have while at the Cabin. It is perfect! Thanks Steve! We will be back!

Perfect in the woods
The Picaflores property is unique. It worked well for our family. The comfy house kept us cool in summer heat, We played music on the screened-in porch, took short hikes to play on Horse Creek and Kings Creek, and ventured up to Cougar Reservoir for a big swim. The outdoor shower is WONDEFUL! Steve was particularly helpful.
